Market sentiment is for 25bps hike in May , and then on hold for a long time, the market had aggressively priced in cuts for the back end of the year , but this was overly optimistic and swap levels are now backing up to reflect the “on hold for a long time” rhetoric that a few fed governors have recently made. I think any recession will be minimal there is still a very strong labour market in the US
