Wake up, America, because when the economy of the automotive market makes it where the average driving consumer cannot afford a car we have a problem! Cars like everything else these days have become political! Our current Administration under Joe Biden is attempting to PUSH Electric cars down our throats! Fossil fuels are plentiful & the ICE engine has vastly been improved! Not so fast with these EV cars! It is no longer about climate change & global temperatures! The lithium batteries are heavy & not recyclable! China stands to gain tremendously with EV battery car production which will hurt the American industry significantly in the beginning!

smh, the last car note i had was $439/mo. and that was on a brand new '03 accord… so many ppl are paying $1k car notes nowadays which is insane.

Gen z and millenials living at home, driving a 2022 car, paying no rent, health insurance, dental and working at a crappy job while complaining why they don't make more lol. How about go to a trade school, college, learn to be an adult, work ethic (stay off ur phone at the job) OR better yet… join your woke military.
Best solution: Invest in Walkable Cities and Public Transportation.
Car dealers bought to many expensive product and now the market has shifted and they don't want to take a hit. But longer they prolong selling their expensive products the hit is only going to be much worse. Because prices are going down at least a percent a week

It's from the ultra high inflationary Obiden economy. True inflation (including gas and food prices) is 15% a year. Comes from trillions in deficit spending annually.
i am keeping my 12' Altima as long as I can. I do all the fluid changes. The biggest one in these Nissan cars is to change the CVT transmission fluids every 30,000 miles or 3 years whichever comes first. So far it has paid off for me.
Not sure when I'll buy my next new car….I have a 2015 Volt with 53,000 miles and a 2014 Maxima with 49,000 miles. Working from home has reduced my annual mileage…and the problem is high new car prices lead to high used car prices..and limited supply…I'll keep what I have as long as I can.

Every dealer is lying hard , even tesla claims that there is a 1 year wait time to buy a tesla and their showrooms/dealers have like 100 sitting because no one can afford them, Ill try to buy a toyota next year,

if you think cars and trucks are too expensive, try checking out the dealerships in Jacksonville, Florida. these people are nuts., I just lost my truck from a hit-and-run accident recently and now I'm riding a bicycle 15 miles to work because I can't even afford a decent running car .its way too expensive around here.
My policy on Additional Dealer Markup is WALK AWAY! I'll pay up to MSRP for a popular model but NOT above it. ALL car buyers should do the same, no matter how much they can pay. We need to keep these predatory car dealers honest. Thanks for the tips, Lauren! 👍
We are not buying a vehicle— we are RENTING A FOREVER SUBSCRIPTION service so we can have the remote start, heated seats, navigation we only THOUGHT we were buying. Another government approved SCAM

AND more foreign automakers will be able to import and sell their models which will force "god forbid" competition and there by force American manufactures to drop prices. Buffalo put Potato Head in power…. suck-it-up people
