    1. Creates more poverty.. hurt's the poor as and middle class..ads to higher food prices because of transportation costs..it affects everything..lets get real..and slows the economy down even more ..yes it's affecting a lot of people..

    2. Have the car sales in Arizona declined as a result of the insane gas costs? If not, that’s another issue in itself. The cost in Arizona should NOT be higher than in California…. PERIOD!

    3. Remember about 7 months ago when literally overnight nearly every gas station in Phoenix changed their price to $4.99 with very little variation? It was $3.99 in Yuma at the same time. There has to be some sort of price fixing going on.

    4. Arizona has the highest cost everything in the Country. I travel most of year for work, everytime I come home I wonder why, living on the road is now cheaper. AZ is not full of rich people. Our State & local govts are out of control wanting more and more $. Greed is destroying AZ. California transplants have created higher prices then the snowbirds ever did. That was bad enough.

    5. It's almost as if the summer caught the oil companies by surprise. Why would they shut down oil refineries at this time of year?

Or maybe, just maybe, it's all orchestrated for extra profits?

    6. 12 News has completely missed the elephant in the room!
Gas pricing in the state is totally out of whack ?
The pricing has always been Tucson lowest followed by Phoenix metro area Mesa lowest, then to lower populated areas. Phoenix has never been more than Flagstaff but, it is now!!! So, has the summer fuel mix started using platinum that makes it that much higher than before?
I gassed up in Payson about a month ago and they were between 30 to 40 cheaper than Phoenix?
Some of us have lived in this state their entire life over 60 years and have never experienced this kind of money grab before.
Go back and do your homework because, this report smells pretty bad!
