I think the US has decided to know, for sure, whether they can get away with even this. It's up to the rest of the nations to decide how to respond to the Bully.
US did something similar to Japan in August 1941 a few months before Perl Harbor. They stole Japans dollar assets and impossed oil sanctions to starve Japans people.
Should be interesting because we will now see Russia confiscate assets from Americans still left or connected to Russia.
And I thought that nations do not behave like true-blue robbers. Sigh.
