State taxes keep the lights on… I cannot think of a single thing the federal government is doing with my taxes that most Americans support
People in general really need to understand the difference between federal tax and state tax. For instance, emergency services are paid by your localities property taxes and have nothing to do with federal income tax. Another example is that interstates are federally owned, but state highways and city thoroughfares are not. The bulk of road maintenance comes from your state tax and not federal government. If federal tax were so necessary, why do you get a refund? Why don’t you get a refund on property tax? It’s a bloated archaic inefficient system that needs a full reboot. If I were to take a wild guess I’d say the future of XRP is that it becomes a stable coin that is worth a dollar or remains static at its current price. Nation state adoption would require that level of stability so that it’s a reliable means of transfer. This is a logical assumption to make from an objective perspective. Moonboys will be displeased.
