  1. u need more intake brotha. all that awesome exhuast work is nothing if your airflow is being suffocated by lack of proper intake. Really sucks that you have to redo it all, but maybe it’ll be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully the new exhuast wall will work out in your favor!

  2. I haven't followed for a while, but problem #1 with your huge fans @ 0:28 is that they are low pressure fans, you got any restriction and they can't do it.
Also you have to direct it to right place (cold/hot aisle), filter and ensure you have sufficient exhaust as well

  3. you need a separate room for Asics. You cannot cool down them, but your idea to knock the wall and do a heat tunnel is more easy to extract . Put Asics on 1 side , gpus on the other.

  4. Defi-Django: Hot air rises, so you will never get the heat under control unless you exhaust out the top of the building. Now, you could duct the heat from the top of the building out at a lower point (with duct fans or something), but you will always have heat problems if you do not get the heat out of the top area of the building.
In an industrial server room, the cool air comes in through the floor in one isle, and hot air out through the ceiling in the adjacent isles (because hot air rises). So, the isles alternate between hot and cold for as many as you need. The point is to force the cool air through the miners, and then out the ceiling as directly as possible. Again, heat rises, so the top is where it naturally wants to go.
I feel your frustration man! I hope you get it figured out 👍🏻

  5. Хах чувак, ну 2 лопасти сними, 2 ставь, они друг напротив друга, все будет ок.

  6. Хотя, если у тебя стоимость 1 кВт выше чем 0,1 бакса, то какой в этом смысл?

  7. A commercial-grade water softener is the way to go IMO. Being in Arizona you are lucky humidity is so low there for this cooling option. Just air flowing +100 degree air from outside into your farm isn't the solution. The key is adding the right amount of humidity with the Airflow. Not an easy solution.

  8. I have a well and have the same problem with hard water. Since the minerals are dissolved, there is no water filter (other than a KDF-85 or KDF-55 filter, which has a particular media inside it) that will remove the minerals from your water. A salt-based water softener will work but like you said you'll need a hefty one to keep up with the volume of water you're running. You'll want to make sure the media inside the softener is a great quality. It works my attracting the minerals to the salt/media so it doesn't make it into your plumbing.

  9. For water, Several Cisterns would do it. rain water harvest before the monsoons and capture it all plus you always have to check for the codes within the city before anything! & honestly you need to put all of it below ground especially here in AZ you'll get way better ambient temperatures

  10. During the summer time, run your farm at night only. During the fall / winter / spring run your farm all day (night and day). This is what I do on the east coast. Good luck.
