1. China gets sanctioned, US debt held by China will be canceled. Chinas economy is crippled.
2. War will be in Taiwan and China, infrastructure in both countries will be destroyed and their people are on the line. American people and infrastructures are left unscathed.
3. US makes money by selling arms to Taiwan and other Asian countries as a result of said war.

As a young African man based in South Africa, I'm both thrilled and puzzled by the ecceleration of major events currently happening around the world. These are major events that are altering the current balance of power and usher in a new geopolitical world order right before our eyes. The war in Ukraine, the expansion of BRICS, the u-turn of the Saudis against the US in favor of China, the tentions in Taiwan, the Civil unrest across Europe, the resistance and open rebellion of Africa against the West, the on-going collapse of the US banking system and its sovereign debt crisis. These events are happening and escalating on daily basis whereas they usually occur in a span of decades. It's as if the gods are rushing the world to a new Age.

Taiwan Strait, which is roughly 96 nautical miles at its widest and 70 nautical miles at its narrowest, is codified in two domestic laws adopted in 1992 and 1998. This claim includes a 12-nautical-mile territorial sea and a 200-nautical-mile EEZ from the baselines of both the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, which means that there is no high-seas corridor through the strait. Fishing, polluting, weapons practice, and spying are not "innocent passage", and submarines and other underwater vehicles are required to navigate on the surface and to show their flag. And such passage is subjected to the obligation to pay ‘due regard’ to the rights and duties of the coastal state (Article 58(3)). China is correct that the term ‘international waters’ does not appear in UNCLOS. The term "international water" is NOT defined in UNCLOS. Also the US did not sign the UNCLOS convention. The United States recognizes the PRC as the sole legal government of China and acknowledges that Taiwan is part of China.
