This year the SEC has targeted U.S. crypto exchanges Kraken, Bittrex, and Coinbase for allegedly selling unregistered securities.
But the crackdown has rattled some lawmakersโmostly Republicansโwho claim the harsher rules and apparent lack of clarity will stifle innovation in the worldโs biggest economy. Among the lawmakers who've cried foul of Gensler's handling of the SEC was Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH), who went on to say he plans on introducing legislation to have Gensler fired.
Davidson is being kind. I would rather see Gensler sent to Jesus.

I completely agree, the SEC already know they have lost the XRP case. Calling at Coinbase and Binance out of fear of what will happen if there are no open cases against anything crypto related.. Boom is inevitable
