    1. In MΓ©xico we have had something similar for years, it is called SPEI (Interbank Electronic Payment System). Transfer money up to certain amount is free and instant, but the government oversee all your monthly transactions gather than $5,000 MXN ($300 USD). Every amount you receive above that amount is taxable if you can not prove you already pay taxes for that money (I.e., donation, lending, gifts, you found it). And because the government has easy access to your bank account they can quickly freeze it.
The reasons for this, beside predatory taxation, is to make more dificult the money laundering.
How vnis affect the crypto in MΓ©xico? Well, any incom from crypto greater than $300 usd is taxable from 30% up to 40%

    2. I watched a Near Death Experience YouTube video where the person was shown the future. She was shown that in 2024/2025 (forget which year), a CBDC (FedNow?) will be implemented along side a social credit system, and cash is banned. This goes on until 2028, when people revolt and vote back in Trump (Dem won in 2024 – didn't say who, my guess is Gavin Newsom) who reinstates cash. Did not say if the CBDC goes away. So, lets see if cash gets banned in the next couple years and who wins 2024.

    3. *Prediction!!! This is how they will prevent all purchases of firearms in the US. This is how they will prevent donations to groups that go against them, peaceful or not. (The latter has already happened, look at Canada.)

    4. Monopolies are illegal in the United States.
Why then, is the Central Bank a Monopoly?
If helping the consumer at large is their actual aim in life, then we should have competition for the Central Bank , such as XRP, Circle, etc…
We all know that absolute financial power over people's live never ends well…

      Greed.☹️

    5. wow ,are we still in denial ? when push comes to shove. All the money and property is already in and under control of some authority wich itself is controlled by some entity. The circle is completed by these intities being controlled by the money itself ,wich is the subject of the whole discussion. making it "FAIR GAME" for anyone to participate. Blockchainz record all and never forget ,wich is the whole power of crypto ,defeating any form of privacy ,forgiveness including your right to be forgotten. Still the people that have the LEAST to hide ( meaning average boring Joe's and Jane's like me ) seem to care and defend this fake notion of privacy MORE and to the advantage and entertainment of the exact mentioned entities that have most to hide and benefit of this so called privacy to hide their shady doings ? #Innit ?! If you believe your wallet has been invisible it's just because it is "invisible" ( uninteresting ).

    6. No more church tithing, causes they don't approve of, firearm, ammo, gas guzzler autos, small airplanes, diesel gas…etc. puchases. Their activism is your misery

    7. The plumbing is being put in place to create non-persons removing them from society a lot quicker than Nigel Farrage in the UK now.

    8. Looking forward to FedNow. It will accelerate the use of crypto alternatives that actually work for fast, private payments.

    9. I guess the US must be one of the last countries adopting a fast/instant payment system 24/7.
Here in Brazil we've had it for about 2 years already…
I know for sure they've had it in China for many years and guess they've had it in Europa for many years as well.

    10. 1:33 we already have a faster payments in the U.K. that’s nothing to do with cbdc. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ it’s just excuses for control again.
