    There are many strategies to make money from the stock (share) market in India and throughout the world but there’s only one strategy that has stood the test of time and has made more people rich. It’s Warren Buffett’s long-term value investing technique which is based on pure common sense – fundamental analysis with intrinsic value calculation using the discounted cash flow approach.

    When Warren Buffett started his investing career, he read the book The Intelligent Investor written by Benjamin Graham and learned the cigar butt approach to buy cheap and undervalued stocks at a low price (usually sold at low PE ratios and PB ratios)

    But after gaining a lot of experience and wisdom in the world of finance and investing and after learning several mental models such as the power of compounding, he realized it’s far better to buy a wonderful business at a fair price than a fair business at a wonderful price using the margin of safety.

    In this video, I talk about how Warren Buffett picks stocks, his investing principles, his top investing rules, and the complete new investment strategy that he uses now for his company Berkshire Hathaway that has given him success and made him one of the richest men on the planet.

    This technique has 4 rules, understand the business, evaluate the management, analyze the financials and then calculate the intrinsic value of the stock.

    To calculate intrinsic value, Warren Buffett uses the technique called discounted cashflow approach introduced by John Burr Williams in his book The Theory of Investment Value written in 1938.

      Didn't understand margin of safety… if buffett buys stock at 50% discount on intrinsic value, then also stock price can go down and loss occur? Can you explain in detail?
