    There is zero reason for the petroleum companies to lower their prices despite this analysis. The whole "jackyp" last year was to get us used to $3.50 gasoline. They did the same in the 2000's to get everyone used to $2.00 gas and the same after 2008 crash. Jack the price sky high, then lower it after the outrage half way back. People get comfortable about the drop but forget about the previous prices. This is marketing, not supply and demAnd

    Their will never be a shortage in oil. It's production and cost is only decided by the CONTROLLERS not that their is a shortage of oil. When oil is a renewable fuel bubbling right out of the ground its all a BIG LIE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

    every priced mentioned comes out to about what it is at today with inflation. The only thing that stands out is the pandemic prices, since no one was traveling for leisure or business.

    My Dad had a night job that had him driving at 2 am and he saw tankers filling up underground tanks at long closed down gas stations . there was some hording and speculation going on back then.

    Pump price here is between 4.09 to 4.29 which is a far cry from cheap. It was up to 4.99 last year before they started dipping into the oil reserves to make it come down before the mid-terms. We do have a lot of extra fees and taxes here.
