There is one canary in the coal mine that could mess up the great news on inflation. Oil. And there is a big problem coming up in 3 years. Not enough electricity to power EV’s and data centers. Tesla is the solution for both, and it means absolutely massive profits equal to or greater than S3XY.

We have two goals on this channel. Provide useful information about Elon Musk and his related businesses and help small businesses increase sales and profits through improved methods of running the enterprise.

I have written 10 books about small business, several of shich are currently available on Amazon, including two Amazon Best Sellers about Elon Musk.

    1. Anyone know about Reuters story regarding Tesla's "secret team" to suppress customer complaints about range? I haven't been able to find any pushback about it.

Generally I don't trust Reuters anyway, so I'm probably looking for the "balance" to the story.

    2. Dude please stop, who cares what Elon said? He talks shit all the time. Look at where the stock price is, that's Elon talking Shit! We're all loosing Asses… Organization's are Not going to let his company win!

    3. TVA (tennessee valley authority a USGovt agency) is wanting to close 1 coal power plant and replace it with a gas plant and batteries, not Solar and Wind. Contact your congressman to get them on board to have USA going greener. TVA is wanting more Nukeulasr and a little solar (just to placate some of us). TVA is not working FOR the rate or tax payers, they seem to be for themselves and encumbant power….

    4. Randy, are you aware of how long it takes a new oil field to be brought online? About a decade.

Where do you suspect oil demand is going to be a decade from now? New car sales are likely to be mostly EVs by 2030. In the US over 50% of all driving happens with cars that are five years old or lower. Demand decay looks like it will progress fairly quickly. That means that Drill Baby Drill is likely to be a money loser.

Then consider the cost of new oil. It is not cheap. As demand drops look for the lower cost producers such as Saudi Arabia to pump more and more oil into the system, undercutting the more expensive producers, in order to sell product while they still can. Don't Drill, Baby.

    5. US coal has fallen from around 55% of US electricity to about 20% and will continue to fall. It costs more to fuel a paid off coal plant than to build new wind and solar generation.

We have recently seen electricity generation from renewable sources exceed generation from coal in the US.

Countries are leaving coal, at least building no new plants. And coal plants, like all machinery, wear out. The average lifespan of a coal plant in the US is around 40 years. Those worn out plants are not being replaced with new coal plants. The exception is mainly in China where some supercritical coal plants have been built in order to close thousands of inefficient, highly polluting coal plants.

I suspect the solution for under generation of electricity will be rooftop solar and building storage. The cost of solar and batteries are going to greatly decrease thanks to Biden's IRA(Build Back Better) legislation. It's going to become very financially attractive for many homes and businesses to generate all or much of their own electricity and rely less on the grid.

    6. Tesla should of started building more battery facilities at least one to two years ago. My guess is they didn’t have their manufacturing process ironed down until recently. This caused the delay. Because they’ve had an 18-24 month backlog for awhile. I hope they can ramp up quickly.

    7. Given the problems with global warming caused by fossil fuel burning and the reality that fossil fuel infrastructure lasts half a century or more and is seldom shut down properly leaving the costs to taxpayers, we certainly do not need more oil drilling. I understand there will be a continued need for oil. The question is where should we put our emphasis at.
Tesla energy will dramatically expand and be good for both investors and the world. I am hoping for many more international megapack factories.

    8. No surprise Tesla went down today, the Fed raised interest rates and will probably do it again, so that's going to make it harder for people to finance their Teslas. This is what Elon meant when he said this was going to be a tough year for Tesla.
