Speaker Profile:
Sam is the Associate Director of Asia Pacific Exchange (APEX). He is responsible for product design and business development of APEX’s products and he is also the product manager of commodities, precious metal, and cryptocurrency derivatives products.
Sam has gained more than 10 years of working experience in the financial service industry in both brokerage and derivatives exchange. Prior to joining APEX in 2017, Sam had worked in Phillip Securities and Singapore Exchange (SGX). He was the head of dealing team in Phillip Securities, serving the high net worth clients in the investment of equities, fixed income and contract-for-difference (CFDs) products. In SGX, he had covered the market control operations, clearing and settlement functions.
Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from National University of Singapore, minor in Financial Mathematics.
