Why are your hands orange? Why did the staff ignored protocol? Did someone from one balcony went to their balcony, murdered them and climbed back? Why did the police searched for all the dna in the room. If they wiped the dna, why didn't they rule the guests and staff out?

I mean i wouldnt want to go somewhere where there is a chance the locals might want to murder me in a hotel that would cover up the murder and the police giving even less of a fuck.

I am a chronically online Indonesian. I don't even know this case! i think i remember some foreigner murder case, idk if its the same murderer, but that's it. The case wasn't even made on morning news or going viral. if you google it, theres just few untrustworthy online platform covering it. This is the 1st time i know about this case, unlike the Vietnamese Coffee case. It's everywhere.
But again, our country take something seriously only after it went viral..
I like the stories and all but what I hate is the fact that you say the same thing over and over and sometimes the dude will ask the dumbest questions and give the dumbest reactions which in turn makes you repeat the same things again. For example “blah blah blah, their lifeless bodies were found in… 😮😮😮 so they’re dead😮😮😮” like ??? Yeah do you not know what lifeless means??? Or “he was wide awake now and sitting up on his bed, his back was erect” //// “ they were Chinese nationals meaning they were Chinese citizens……. Like no shittttttt why do you keep explaining the same things over and over. 😊

I have stayed at this hotel last year. This hotel is very big, vast and pretty far from room to room. I was once confused to get to the reception from my room. I suspect that the noises were made by the couples during the killing but due to the room being far away from any potential being, they’re unheard. Just my 2 cents.
Tourism could also account for the Bali government insisting it was murder-suicide tho.

I holidayed in Bali 3 times but my last trip in the early 90s with my wife and young son convinced me that corruption was a way of life there from top to bottom – the customs at the airport wanted a bribe (to bring in milk powder for our young son!), the hotel staff had ignored my request for a ground floor room (despite having stayed there just a year before and confirmed the booking by phone) and wanted 'convincing' that they should find us one and so on. Who knows what the place has descended to these days? I'd stay away if I were you . . . there's a darkness about this island.

It is in the best interest of Bali authorities to rule as domestic violence/homicide to avoid an international scandal. So I think the organized crime gangs in Bali targeted this rich couple in particular the male to get e-money and they are related to hotel workers. Gia is just a circumstantial victim do she isn't a witness.
So he let them kill his gf instead of giving up money?
