7:32 and how is that possible that you create one gallon of fresh water but the end result is one and a half gallons of seawater? Does not sound like they have their brightest on the problem 😂
Imagine capitalism works….
Desalination creates just as many problems as it solves. Where does the high salinity water go? You cannot dump it into the land. Salt will kill any prospect of vegetation. You'd essentially create a dead zone wherever you dump that brine water (ocean or land). You also need 2-3 parts of salt water to create 1 part of potable drinking water. That will become a crisis in itself.
Water shortage in America is coming from all the gallons used to strip the wax off floors and put it back on. Working a school I know.
Water is not scares. They are diverting it to unnecessary golf courses, weed grow farms, agriculture in the desert, almond trees, avocado trees, etc….. Earth hasn't run out yet.
I love all these forecasts because they haven't happened yet. You can't prove they WON'T happen, and you get to make policy that benefits you based on the forecasts you created.
