    1. the EU has been selling cars to China for decades, made billion. Now China doesn't even have 5% of EU car share and they play protectionist. They'll wont like China's reply.

    2. Algorithms recommend what we like to watch, and if we're not actively looking for different points of views, most likely we'll be exposed to views we agree with most of the time.

I’ve made many videos teaching Chinese language vividly and in a humorous way. I hope somebody can recommend my videos to those who want to learn Chinese. For beginners, Chinese characters may look complicated. But once you learn about 100 basic radicals, most characters become easy.

I hope more people can learn Chinese to get comprehensive firsthand information about China and most likely seek more job opportunities.

Know ourselves as well as our partners, competitors, adversaries…..

    3. Artificially??? Man you taking rubbish. In company in which i am working in Sweden we have couple Tesla cars. Also last week we received couple Polestar 2 LR SM. That quality, comfort, security which we have in those Polestar models, Tesla can only dream about. When EU/USA el car market can offer such quality as Polestar and prices like Polestar they can stop be paranoid. So until that time, it’s looks like they need to learn a lot.

    4. Chinese EVs have higher quality with a lower cost. Soon the foreign brands' sales in China market will drop like a stone. What policy EU makes doesn't matter anyway.

    5. 3:58 That topic, is big enought to fill some few hours, can´t be fully disclosed in 14:48. If you are willing to compare China to any other Nation and say "They do the same"….. I don´t need to put any words here…. That is wrong on so many levels (not all! ^^)

    6. Chinese cars priced artificially high at rhe moment because they know EU will hit them with taxes. So they can absorb the taxes and keep the same prices

    7. EU seemed perfectly happy when they unfairly subsidized their own carmakers and made all their billions in China for the last few decades.
But they aren't dumb and knows perfectly the apocalyptic consequences from Chinese retaliation, EU carmakers relies on China for up to half their revenue and Chinese EV supply chain for their cars, losing those and they'll have no funds nor know-how to ever catch up, and they're doing badly enough already.
Knowing that and still choosing protectionism at home means only one thing, European carmakers have given up on ever competing with Chinese companies in international markets, and have elected to survive as an irrelevant domestic only player rather than face what they see as certain death both at home and abroad.

    8. I can't see any company who has chosen to NOT manufacture mainly EVs surviving. I don't believe any company choosing to only build ICE vehicles will survive. EV's wont ever suit everyone in every way, people who like to go 4 wheeling in the mountains/deserts/forests will always need ICE vehicles… if they need to tow heavy trailers/caravans long distances, they will require ICE vehicles… so companies like Toyota should keep making some Landcruisers etc… but these will be for the die-hard 4x4ers and caravaners (niche markets)… but for general bread and butter sales, they need to be mainly focusing on EVs in my opinion. From what you say, I believe most of the old school (Japanese) car makers avoiding electrification will disappear in the next few years. I think Europe might have left their run a bit late… maybe Merc and BMW will become small niche producers?

    9. Europe definitely is racist and double faced because it gives subventions to all of its industry, farmers…and who not all of the time.

As a German I always opt not to by any proprietary and planned obsolescence trash.

Just bought a Chinese product with way better features for 1/3 of the price of a Euro model.

    10. Sit back and relax, the EU Commission in Bruxelles will pose substantial tariffs on Chinese cars. The Chinese Market is highly regulated for foreign companies in so many ways. In China foreign automakers can’t own the majority stake in a joint venture, all has to be with an angle favorable for the chinese. The EU will do the same versus Chinese automakers.

    11. Volkswagen ID3 is priced at US$15,000 in China.
The price of id4 in China is US$20,000, which is far lower than the price in Europe.
In fact, the Chinese government should investigate European car companies for dumping at low prices in the Chinese market. 😆

    12. Im with eu, if the chinese wants to sell ev`s in europe they should be made there too, same goes for european carmakers who makes theirs in china and sends to europe.

    13. We all ready pay 25 % in VAT in Denmark + additional import EU tax so i really can't see the problem for EU, but perhaps it's the Nokia effect hitting the EU car manufactors…instead of spending time and money on expensive overpaid lawyers car manufacturers in EU should spend time getting more competitive and cheaper for the end consumers.

    14. This is why I advocate for a new era of gunboat diplomacy, only this time its Chinese carrier groups sailing along US and European coastlines and saying "open up for free trade."

    15. Internet globalizes… -what worked yesterday, do not neccesarily works today. Why pay €50.000 for a car priced at €20.000 in China?… the difference is beyond reasonable. Maybe if the car in every single part became 2.5 times better. Stainless steel instead of recycled scrap metal, ceramic brakes, gold-plated electrical connectors etc etc etc….

People in EU now know than a Volkswagen ID.3 is at €15.000 (…and ain't worth any more), so why pay €40.000.- The huge difference makes no sense, no sense at all.

    16. It feels self fulfilling to continuously increase the costs of new cars and to make that an expectation of the public. As well as the expectation that you will pay more and more to service it. It’s the big Scam and goes against the laws of normal capitalism

Tesla has proven that this should not be the case

    17. Chinese desperately need money for their economy on break down due to Xi Jinping‘s corrupted CCP and failure of public expenditure e.g. for fake train lines and infrastructures nobody wanted to use. So development companies building houses are in really big troubles also the small industrial complex, shopping malls, small businesses etc. while a well educated young generation lives under the bridge. So as stupid history of men always repeat without learning the next step for ‚Führer‘ Xi is WAR to bind dangerous human power and unsatisfied masses that are frustrated. As long as Chinese EV are a success over here they do not need any funding by EU. But EU set the rules for their suffering automotive industry and is now stupidly trapped. They cannot stop just funding Chinese EV as per then it would be game over for own batteries. That we come back to ICE is just no more possible and markets like Switzerland with nearly no incentives and higher than EU prices is proof. Only limitations so far are high prices and that most people here just renter and depend on the owners to fix wallchargers. Public charging however is too complicated besides at TESLA and prices astronomically high. But all this still is not an argument for Chinese to lower prices for better products as they need the additional income to establish distribution and continue production at home. At the moment people their buy local and no more German or French. British not to name anymore but they really like their MG‘s of course from SAIC as the Swedish people like Polestar and Volvo from Geely which also has an important stake in Mercedes-Benz making the SMART for them. So have you any questions of what really goes on?

    18. What are the tariffs imposed on European cars in China? The EU tariffs american products, why shouldn't they do the same with Chinese products?

    19. If the EU is afraid to do an import tariff against China, they could achieve the result they want with more EV incentives, where only the cars built in the EU are elegible. If a Chinese company wants to build an EV factory in Europe, fine, but they'll be tied up in European bureaucracy and high costs. I doubt very many Chinese companies would have the balls to try it. Their best bet might be to build a factory in Moldova or one of the Balkan countries who have already applied to join the EU.

    20. Whether it Geeley, Chery, GAC, Changan or BYD, they’re all crap. Geeley can take 4 months just to have service done or even get parts. Complaints are running through the roof in our country. Limited car inventory and usually here today gone tomorrow. No consistency. Stay away.

    21. I think their biggest fear is not that made-in-China cars (including Teslas) will dominate, but that their companies will relocate manufacturing to China in order to compete.

    22. But, but, but Competition is good isn’t it? Drives (pardon the pun) innovation, better quality, convenience, lower prices, yaada yaada yaada. Guess not for some, sucks being passed.

    23. If people buy insanely low price vehicles they obviously don't value their or their passengers lives, what will be the first thing to go, safety systems

    24. The only victims are EU consumers and Germany car giants. Volkswagon, BMW and Benz are still earning a lot in China on their outdated fuel vehicles. What if CCP says: OK, let's be more friendly to the environment? Maybe the only winner is Tesla.

    25. The EU has lots of economic leverage over China because they are running a massive trade deficit with the prc. On the other hand, China has lots of geopolitical leverage over Europe because the Chinese are in a unique position of being able to support Russia in retaliation and essentially that will be the end of Europe.
