Will Crypto.com be the next FTX??#ftx #cryptodotcom #cro #cryptoexchange #cryptonews #bitcoinnews #bitcoinmagazine #cryptotoday #greenscreen

Crypto.com has admitted to “mistakenly” sending 416 million worth of ethereum to another
exchange called Gate.io! This is an amount that makes up about 80 percent of the company’s Ethereum holdings.

And this isn’t even the first time this has happened!!

Back in May 2021 they sent a customer $7.2 million instead of a $68 refund because of an apparent TYPO. They didn’t notice until7 months later and by that time the customer had already bought a house with the money. They are now attempting to sue to get the money back.

Crypto.com like FTX also has it’s own token CRO which has plunged along with the rest of the market this week.

Just another reminder that if you are currently holding your funds on an exchange there has never been more of an incentive to learn how to withdraw to your own personal wallet.

    1. This reminds me of the September 2019 over night repo crisis. So basically in a nut shell bank’s borrowing money from each other to avoid being negatively labeled publicly. It got so bad that eventually they all needed daddy “Federal Reserve” to bail them out. Then a few months later Cvd19 came out and here we are with all kinds of crazy stuff happening. These crypto exchanges are doing the same shit, but nobody’s coming to rescue them.

    2. CRO is going nowhere but up. What I can’t understand is instead of spending FUD. You should be banding together with all crypto for the sake of the entire market. Are you sure the investors all is well and potential investors. But you do what you gotta do to get views for your channel

    3. None of what you said makes the case your trying to make at all. I might need to unsubscribe to Bitcoin magazine. If you really wanna know which exchange is in trouble my first bet would be Gemini. The company that is responsible for their earn program is going under so what do you think that means for Gemini????

    4. Girl go issue an apology. Atleast own your mistakes and we can respect you more. JS. You loss all credibility otherwise.

    5. "I'm a big advocate for Sam because he has two parents that are compliance lawyers," FTX spokesman and investor Kevin O'Leary, better known as Shark Tank‘s Mr. Wonderful, said earlier this month of his relationship with crypto scam-artist Sam Bankman-Fried. "If there's ever a place I could be that I'm not going to get in trouble, it's going to be at FTX."
