If we dont know the total supply of ethereum then we cant know the total market cap of ethereum. If we cant know the total market cap of ethereum then we cant measure the unit energy of 1 ethereum. If 3 entities control the voting of ethereum by leveraging the proof of stake then the counter-party risk is too high for new institutional grade investors. Ethereum lost millions of enthusiasts who were DCAing and lost proof of work security by going proof of stake and centralizing the network. The centralization took away the value for individual users to be on it with the gpu's and therefore lost the home business side hustle reason to promote the network. It was sold as decentralized but one man set a bomb to break the proof of work algo while millions of miners said no.
