I once had a ride along who didn't pay attention to anything I was doing, on his phone not willing to learn, sleeping in the truck. He didn't make it. I hope this kid tries to learn, but if he's not taking things seriously then he should find another line of work.
If that’s a learning session, should’ve got the meter out and show him how to check the dc micro amps for that sensor. Maybe next time.

Check that heat exchanger left side under the limit switch. 7 out of 10 have cracks on the seem. Most will be under trains 20yr warranty.
Hey Mikey, Test the flame sensor first with a meter to see how poor its preforming. Then test it after you clean it. This way you take out the guess work.
That’s decent pricing too. 12:47 if filter is dirty in Summer you can have coil freeze up and build it’s way to the compressor. And they don’t run on liquid they’re vapor compressors people lol. Good video though. Share the knowledge. 👍
My father taught the plumbing apprenticeship 3rd year for 20 years before he passed. He was a diehard about teaching them hydronic heat. He made sure Holohans books and Siegenthalers modern hydronic heating was included in their books. Since he passed they stopped teaching heating altogether. I also went through RSES for 3 years and although they taught furnaces and a/c they touched lightly on hydronics. These kids dont even get any theory on heating anymore in plumbing school. These young guys you have working for you don't realize how fortunate they are to have someone so well versed in all these trades teaching them.

What if only one of those tubes light up & then it dies. So the flame never got to the flame sensor.
