Zilliqa (ZIL) is a new project which could be about to do a LOT of great things for the blockchain space. It’s looking like if it delivers on all of its promises and claims, that it will be able to increase speed and scalability for a lot of these blockchain projects.
There are already some notable partners stepping into the crypto space with Zilliqa, so it seems as long as these projects are able to keep continuing these types of positive relationships, that we will see a lot of upside and more exposure.
Zilliqa was the first blockchain project to suggest improving some of the network congestion issues with blockchain sharding. Since then, we’ve seen a couple other projects move into this space to try and do the same thing — notably Polkadot. If Zilliqa can get on some of the hype and exposure like Polkadot has, we will be seeing a LOT of potential price upside.
The market cap is very small right now, but if we see it competing with the likes of Polkadot, we could be looking at seeing ZIL tokens up around the $1 target. This price prediction based on analysis seems VERY doable. Previous price highs had ZIL hitting just shy of $0.25, so to think that we could see $1 per ZIL seems very plausible.
ZIL is capable of being staked (which also helps network speeds). If tokens are staked in a capable wallet, users and holders can earn those staking rewards. As Zilliqa moves into the Defi space more, opportunities for liquidity rewards should also be possible for additional gains.
Zilliqa is one of the new projects that does utilize a new proof-of-stake, so you can definitely stake it with a Zilliqa wallet. It’s great how the blockchain world is getting off of a proof-of-work consensus mechanism. The Zilliqa coin price will likely see the influx of the new staked rewards, but overall, the new supply won’t have that much of an impact. The Zilliqa cryptocurrency and token is still looking for a demand increase to shoot prices up.
The news around Zilliqa also seems to be progressing. The ZIL news does ultimately seem bullish. In 2020 we are seeing such growth, and as we approach the second year anniversary of the mainnet launch, the news today should continue to help Zilliqa grow in this fashion.
