The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed its approval for Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum Futures ETF applications. The regulator filed for an extension on November 15 stating that it needed more time to properly review the issues of the application and its decision regarding ETFs.

ETF goes against the whole ideology of BTC from the start as an unregulated peer to peer system,
BTC will pump on ETF, but then end up being just another wall street manipulated derivative and traded like indexes like QQQ, S&P, GOLD, etc

Funny thing nobody is talking about this. If you agree that we are going to get a spot ETF, why not buy GBTC. This is going to be a spot ETF at a 10% discount. So, if a company doesn't want to hold their keys you can front run this by buying GBTC. If Gary Gensler keeps delaying the spot ETF I see GBTC start trading at a premium again.

Let me tell you one thing Paul, I am in Canada and here we have BTC ETF, you know and it HAS created no BIG SUCCESS. People are not ready YET. The reason, number ONE is BTC volatility. no-one can take his/her asset value go down 80/90%. Secondly there is little awareness AND knowledge about WHAT IS MONEY AND WHAT IS WEALTH, (for most common folks,) I would say. Process is going ON, But with very least and sporadic manner, LONG STORY SHORT….only lot of may change, once Generation Z and Millennials Start earning and savings…..so ETF in USA will bring some initial up swing momentum BUT it will be short lived…. YES INTITUNAL investors AND WHALES will be the players and may use it…. for their may be Gambling purpose….OR MAY BE destroy the real purpose of BTC….
