The IRS claims that he hid money between 2014 and 2018 in real estate and a yacht. The SEC is also suing him for not misleading investors in ICO cryptocurrencies that he was promoting on Twitter. They claim that he made $23 million for promoting Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) and he did not disclose that he was being paid to promote these currencies. They also say that he lied about being paid when someone actually asked if he was being paid to promote these ICOs. He is also being accused of using cryptocurrency to run a pump and dump scheme. The say he bought up a bunch of a cryptocurrency then sold it to his followers on Twitter as he promoted it and persuaded them to buy it.
