I have yet to hear from any climate expert about using natural methods to mitigate CO2 emissions. Like planting trees and reforestation to prevent soil erosion and capture CO2. Or greater use of renewable alcohol based transportation fuels from corn and biomass. Brazil has been using sugarcane for ethanol for decades. 92% of the cars in Brazil run on pure ethanol. The technology can be improved in the US. Why do we need to move to battery cars when there are less disruptive alternatives that may work.
Why don't politicians know anything about history. The incredible growth of California was on the back of the Oil Industry. Take a look at pictures from the 1950's.

I agree with most of what Alex Epstein said. And I like Electric Vehicles. The auto expert said there's no EV infrastructure in rural America … where people live in houses. Uh, charge at home. And he implies that urban America has EV infrastructure. There's electricity in a billion more places than gasoline.
