In this video, I discuss whether there are existential risks to Bitcoin caused by Coinbase being the largest custodian for Bitcoin spot ETF issuers.
I conclude that there are not, and that Bitcoin will continue to be moved around over time. BlackRock will probably switch to a big bank as custodian at some point for its ETF, and the big tech companies will also seek to get in on the action.
Also, because Bitcoin is proof of work, owning more coins does not give you more control over the protocol, unlike proof of stake.

Does anyone have advice on how much of your BTC to keep in your hardware wallet vs. an app like Strike or Phoenix?
Matt…could you look into doing a video on the importance of striving to own 1. Btc. Keep the informative content coming.

Going from ruling the 3rd world to becoming the 3rd world.
Great vid once again.
Us Govt has a lot of BTC
Anybody has insight how safe Nexo may be, at least in the next 12 months?
Exciting times ahead for Bitcoin! With the potential approval of a Bitcoin ETF by the SEC, we could see a broader audience diving into crypto investments. Given its resilience and key support levels, especially the 41k mark, Bitcoin's future looks promising. Don't miss out on this financial wave. I've personally benefited from following Craig Reeder's trading tactics, amassing 22 bitcoins in a short two-month period, which speaks volumes about his expertise.
Hey Matthew, could Bitcoin pumps cease to exist once an ETF is approved, because theoretically they could halt trading on black rock ETF if there’s too much price volatility?
You need to fix your audio levels.
Matthew, if you had a lot of money in retirement accounts (which can't buy real bitcoin directly), what bitcoin proxy would you select? I think a lot of people with retirement accounts want to know this and it could make a good video.
Solid advice. Be your own custodian. Be your own bank take the control from other people.
If we called things what they actually were Coin Base would be named 'Crypto Casino'. What purpose does it serve other than gambling on shitcoinery?
Btc channels bow down to best content on the tube.
Thanks for all your work. It is greatly appreciated.
How about an update on the current state of cold storage / hard wallets.
Hey thanks for this video. What’s a cold storage card. I looked at a few online but as I don’t know anything about them I was a bit confused by the options

Hey Matt, I read someplace that the two largest holders of BTC were nation states, namely, USA and China, respectively. Have you heard this? And, will you please do a video on this?
I would like to hear you thoughts on Seed Signer.
