      Since no one trades in gold – how can you use it to hedge inflation? There is no demand for the average person. Gold indexes and Gold ETFS are flat investments. Most people can't put a significant portion of their income into gold (or other investments due to low wages) so they invest long term. How can this be a benefit short term or even medium term? 10k is an unrealistic figure. Can you give some recommendations based on the average wage today which is 35k per year, 70k per household? Thanks.
