Anyone who believes there is no price manipulation is a fool. The fed and the large banks have a vested interest in lowering the price of gold and silver to preserve the dollar. The large banks control the comex, where the price of gold and silver are controlled. The price of gold and silver can be easily suppressed by naked short selling, or shorting the market without having the physical metal to back up such price moves. Very few players in the market actually ask for physical deliver of the metal. The price of gold and silver set by comex has very little to do with supply and demand of the physical market. This clearly shows the market is rigged. If the gold or silver price spikes everyone knows that the dollar by comparison is worthless. Eventually other markets around the world will surpass the comex (for example, China, which has established a physical market). Only then will true price discovery take place and a more fair standard will be established.
