Hi folks I’m glad you’re all here thank you very much for joining me we are supposed to keep an eye on what’s going on in the Middle East and in Israel a lot of people are complaining about late deliveries of packages in male I don’t know if that’s really got anything to do

With what’s going on there in the Middle East and the Red Sea never let a disaster go to waste right are houthi Red Sea attacks really hurting Israel and disrupting global trade they do have to extend the travel um not going through the Red Sea the Suez Canal which puts extra time on

Delivering oil and other Goods by about 4,000 miles and sometimes I heard that some of the cargo was delayed by either 22 weeks or 22 days I think it could be weeks so now they have an extended 4,000 about 4,000 extra miles around the Cape

Of Good Hope or the Horn of Africa it used to be called The Horn of Africa it’s not just things going to Israel there’s all kinds of food being transported other types of goods clothing fish tea coffee cars um sound equipment mobile equipment you can see here frozen

Fish and this map has some of the recent attacks posted to it and shows the different routes that they have to go Iran recently said that it was going to start a new warfront and maybe that could be there in Yemen which is off in this area

The houthis have taken over the country even the capital there in Yemen most of their supplies are probably coming from Iran I was surprised here on the maritime traffic.com how many ships are actually going through this area yeah this is the Red Sea and it goes all the way up to the Suez

Canal which yeah really made me wonder has it really slowed that many shipping containers and oil containers down there has been talk of at least three maybe five major shipping companies are no longer going through this area but look at all the ships the green ones are all cargo

Vessels and I believe um the red are oil going down here by Yemen let me come down here there is some import P Let’s see we got one right there it’s a cargo vessel there’s an oil tanker uh what else we got another oil tanker now these are all off the coast

There of Yemen another cargo vessel and I if I can zoom in a little bit better there look at them all okay this one at the Port is in fact a cargo vessel this one here the it says it’s out of range so it can’t tell me

What vessel it is same with that one so there is 14 cargo vessels and five oil tankers six if I count this one right here same thing I can’t get an identification on there this is one of the container vessels that was hijacked by the houth the Galaxy leader and

They’re saying because of the threat of of the drones and the missile attacks um one of the oil tankers was hit and caught on fire actually I think two of them were hit so the larger shipping companies in the world have been forced to reroute their vessels at considerable

Cost you got to figure the fuel that it uses to go around the Cape of Good Hope and then the pay for the employees and then if they hire Security on the vessels yeah that’s going to cost them more money 2 the houthis who are aligned with Iran has demanded that Israel allow
