Let’s get started with the video so to begin what is crypto.com why is it called crypto.com if they don’t even have a desktop or a website and it’s an app so i actually talked to their team on this and i found out that one of their uh founders was able to get

The domain name for crypto.com and they really liked it so essentially they just stuck with that i guess it is really good for keyword search so if you’ve ever wondered why an app is called a website url domain name that seems to be the reason now crypto.com simply put it’s just a

Cryptocurrency and payment platform it was founded in 2016 and now has well over 10 million users they offer several financial services such as being able to buy exchange send and track over 50 different cryptocurrencies now on top of that they also allow you to earn interest and cashback on your

Investments crypto.com is one of the most well-established platforms in the space and offers a wide variety of different partnerships including visa booking.com aston martin cogs in it formula one team as well in addition to all the features and recognitions crypto.com has been an industry leader and being considered the gold standard

For security as well back in 2019 they won an award as the first cryptocurrency company to receive the iso certification which is a pretty incredible accomplishment within the cryptocurrency industry now due to the nature of blockchain and decentralized technology of what cryptocurrency is these platforms getting targeted for hacks is not an

Uncommon thing back in 2019 popular platforms like binance one of the largest crypto platforms in the space lost 40 million dollars because of a targeted security breach crypto.com has yet to be hacked even with their large user base of over 10 million users and just to give you some more

Icing on the cake they also landed a record 360 million dollar insurance deal which is one of the largest crypto insurance deals in the space i have to mention all these things because in the crypto industry i’m telling you it can get a little scary it

Can get a little sketchy and the last thing you want is to lose all your hard-earned money by trusting one of these platforms from a random youtuber and not knowing what happened when someone decides to hack them if i were to choose any cryptocurrency platform out of the hundreds that exist right now

I would choose crypto.com over any one of them right now so to conclude the introduction of what crypto.com is i went through their entire 57 page white paper to give you guys a better analysis or key bullet points that i was able to find to give you a better idea of what

The problems are in the industry and how they’re trying to solve it this goes to page 10 of the white paper where i’m gonna read here at the top they state problem statement and our strategy key challenges in driving crypto adoption they state we see the following key challenges in driving crypto adoption

Here and user experience whether it’s poorly designed user experience does not delight or satisfy mainstream users weak value propositions do not incentivize people to use crypto for purposes other than speculative trading difficulty understand an investor new to crypto users and damaged user confidence from crypto related fraud and theft

Their strategy to tackle the challenges above they offer products along three verticals payment trading and financial services they state our strategy is to leverage payment solutions as the primary tool for driving adoption and user acquisition while building trading and financial service solutions as the major sources of revenue this strategy creates

Crypto.com is clearly not a low security risky platform new to the space they’re looking for real investors trying to make money on their investments into cryptocurrency and you can be either a beginner or an expert and they don’t discriminate on what type of experience level you have they’re here to walk you through

So in order to get this card you first have to purchase cro which is the nativecrypto.com token and then you have to do something called staking for a six month period for any beginners new to the space staking your crypto for six months is essentially just locking that amount up

For that time and you get interest on that amount by doing this and getting your amount staked you can then withdraw it after the six months you have your ruby steel card you have the 25 dollars in your pocket and then whatever the price of cro happens to be after that six month

Period you’ll be gaining extra money in your pocket so i currently believe in order to get the ruby seal the minimum cro amount staked is about 400 if we were to do some math i want to show you something really interesting why all of this makes sense and why this is still

On this account you can see for today i’m actually up 2 400 it’s been really really good for the past few days in terms of growth that we’ve been seeing in the overall crypto market so to get started before we even talk about the bottom navigation screen that you have let’s

Talk about the top left and the top right corner and then we’ll go into what we’re seeing on the main home page here so if you want to start out and go to the top left here’s what i recommend you to do first make sure you set up face id touch

Id whatever security feature you have on your iphone you may not have like you know the iphone with the face id yet or you may still have the touch id whatever it is make sure you enable security okay cryptocurrency all of the platform may be secure you want to make sure that you

Secure your own profile and uh by doing that two-factor authentication is really good the anti-phishing code set a code that only you know so whenever they send you an email and they will attach the anti-phishing code to it so a hacker won’t send you like a fakecrypto.com email to have you log in

That is another method that they’ve implemented in order to secure and make sure that people are protected so first thing i recommend you to do change your passcode add something two-factor authentication now the settings feature is pretty straightforward on most apps you can log out of here you can find the terms and

So what we’re going to do next is go back to the home page on the top right we have crypto pay this is a neat little feature where just like vemmo or paypal or cash app you can send or receive crypto from other people so if i press send right here i could

Open up my contacts and then send this type of money to other people and uh it’s a neat feature if you’re trying to get away from venmo and you want people to get into the dark side of the crypto world whatever you want to say

You can just send them money and i feel like that’s when you know a little bit of that crypto bug gets them bit and then all of a sudden you know they’re reading everything about satoshi nakamoto they’re watching videos like this like you are on youtube and figuring out

How apps like this work so right here on your home page if you ever want to send receive or even look into something called gift cards which i know most y’all are familiar with you can access that through this little feature here now i am someone who loves credit cards

I love using my points and miles i love my american express gold and platinum card so i will never really buy a gift card but if you aren’t someone who’s into credit cards you could look into these gift cards where if you do earn 10 back that really does add up so if

You’re going to make purchases anyway might as well purchase it here and then get additional 10 cash back it’s almost like a savings so uh it’s it’s not a bad feature it’s not something i personally used but it’s something that you guys can always check out as well so here is another feature

That i’m going to mention this is called mobile airtime so this is where if you are using a prepaid cell phone you got like a burner phone or something you can top up that amount it’ll find what carrier you have and you can use crypto in order to sync that amount so it’s

Pretty interesting i don’t know how many people would be using this on a day-to-day basis but i’m assuming this is really meant for people who are trying to stay low-key or you don’t want to pay any type of transaction fee foreign in other countries so say i’m in korea

Visiting my grandparents and my other family and i have another phone there and i can’t use my primary phone in the u.s i could enact this mobile airtime feature in order to top up that amount so that’s something else that you can use you can also top

Up other people’s phones so maybe you have a little cousin or your grandma who doesn’t know how to work stuff you can honestly do that there so even with those few features alone there’s a lot of things that go in depth but uh on the top right this is really

Important too because i know cryptocurrency itself can be pretty scary and if you ever need to see what the i would say the platform is doing if it ever goes down if it’s slowing down click on the top right of the crypto.com app and you’ll see a status of what the entire

Platform is doing so you’ll see that there’s a withdrawal delay and an sms delay and you know always i would i would say for the most instance since i’ve been a uh investor in cryptocurrency whenever there’s a large volume of people coming on or even on random days

One platform may go down for maintenance in order to tighten up security or whatever upgrade they need to make on their back end platform it’s always good to have multiple crypto platforms just in case one goes down you can always buy and sell on another platform just in case there is a limited

Opportunity maybe bitcoin starts running like crazy now if you ever have any issues with the app itself what you can do is go into send us a message and then contact someone on their support team because this is more of an international app you do have access to different languages

Uh so if you are uh only a spanish speaker or you speak italian you can have access to different languages as well which is not pretty bad most apps are just english all right so here we are on the home page we covered the top bar of the crypto.com platform now right

In the uh middle of the screen we have my total balance for whatever reason you want to be low-key or you want to show people your portfolio and you don’t want them to see how much money you have in your account you can just press this little eyeball

Icon here and this will allow you to just hide your gains and your amount now the next thing that you will see right here is your ability to trade and transfer and it’s good that it’s positioned on the home page right here because these are gonna be your most commonly used

Features when trying to make a trade so to make a trade on crypto.com it’s really really easy you can press trade it’ll tell you buy or sell if i press buy i then choose any cryptocurrency listed on their exchange okay they’re not going to have every

Altcoin in the world but they do have much more of a variety than other exchanges like coinbase does so if i want to buy coin as an example let’s click cardano right here also known as ada you have a few options right so you can actually buy crypto with your

Credit or debit card i do want to make this mention a lot of banks do not like cryptocurrency and they will do everything they can in order to make sure that uh your fiat currency and if you don’t know what fiat is because i know some people

Ask me questions on this fiat is just a current it’s like the usd dollar so if i say fiat currency if crypto.com say that it’s just like the dollar so uh if you’re trying to link a credit card or a debit card and um that transaction doesn’t go

Through oftentimes the banks require you to call them and let them know hey like i’m trying to uh uh link my card up to the app and it’s not going through so you have to go through and verify it so i have here the um process for the credit or debit

Card you just find your information put it on here and then it should go through they only accept a handful of different credit cards i don’t believe you can use things like american express or discover on here as well now if you don’t want to run into any issues and you want to

Guarantee like your money is going to go through here’s what you can do so you can first start with your crypto wallet you can buy ada by transferring other cryptocurrencies from maybe like your coinbase account onto your crypto.com platform and then transfer that crypto onto whatever you’re trying to get so we’ll

Explain a little bit more of that later just in case it’s a little confusing your fiat wallet it’s like your cash balance so if you’re thinking about like uh robinhood as an example robinhood allows you to have that cash balance you can still have your money stored on the app but it doesn’t

Necessarily have to be invested so right here on the fiat wallet they have euros and they also have usd as well right here if i click on this amount i can adjust how much i want to buy if i want to buy 10 cardano it’ll be the

Equivalent to 14.29 but as you can see each crypto is going to have their own minimum for cardano it’s going to be 23.5 tokens so i would put 23.5 if i want to just buy the bare minimum but as you can see in my usd account i don’t have enough money

So if you don’t have money on your crypto wallet and you can’t buy a coin yet what do you do you first got to transfer money into that account so in order to do that it’s really easy right next to trade you have transfer if i click transfer

I can go into deposit and into deposit it says deposit crypto from other platforms what we mentioned earlier where if you have other crypto located on block by coinbase whatever platform it is click on this say most popular people have bitcoin so say i have bitcoin i would then scan this wallet address

And then transfer it into this account right here i’ve done this many times before it works really well just keep in mind if you do transfer bitcoin over from another wallet sometimes it’ll be instant and sometimes it’ll take hours it can be a little scary i’m not gonna

Lie especially after that like 20 30 minute waiting period if you’re gonna transfer money into your crypto.com portfolio i would start with like five ten dollars first just to verify that the wallet address is working so you know you’re good go ahead and do that and then put in

Your full amount if it’s 10 20 30 000 then you can start depositing more money what we can do other than that is if you wanted to directly put money from your bank account into crypto.com they also allow you that feature so it says deposit fiat from your bank account

I would just click on that i’m not trading euros so we’re gonna do us dollar and you have two options right here you have ach bank transfer or you have wire transfer so wire transfer does take on average one or two business days for it to appear in your wallet but you

Have a much larger cap if you want the ach transfer from your bank account it is what most people will do you can transfer up to twenty thousand dollars usd in a day which is frankly not bad i know with block fights only five thousand dollars which can be

Pretty limiting to any of the whales out here so um with the ach it does take a little longer because they’re not using a middleman service like plaid or played and with other services like coinbase they actually front the money for you until your amount arrives and say you don’t have the right

Like full amount in your bank account they will actually then pause your account until you deposit that money in there so by now you should have a better understanding of how to trade cryptocurrencies and how to transfer money and also how to get it out which is

Another important feature if i wanted to withdraw this money i would just go back into transfer press withdraw and then withdraw crypto to other platforms so i could send the crypto to other users i could send it to my friends i could send it to my cold storage my ledger nano x listed

Down below in the description best cold storage i have or i could transfer to another external wallet whether it’s a meta mask or any other platform or coin or service that you’re using or what you can also do is just withdraw your money back into your

Bank account so it’s really easy to do that all you have to do is just add your bank account here they have a monthly limit of fifty thousand dollars so uh if you are a baller and you need fifty thousand dollars every month and you cap it out

You can just hold it on there until that month refreshes you’ll get that 50 000 limit back but this is very easy all you have to do is add your bank account it goes in there once you verify those two small amounts which is the usual procedure so here if you do

This they actually have the ability to withdraw your money using played played is the most popular common feature and they work with most banks it’s really really easy to use that’s all i’m going to say it’s highly highly effective now what i want to show you next is

My favorite coin so this is something interesting that you can do you will see four or five of my favorite coins but if i press this button right here it’s actually going to open up all of my top favorite coins as well if i press c all right here

I’m gonna see the uh starred coins that i’ve added on my profile and to do that you just open up the particular coin let’s press on cardano again and i just press the star feature right here so when you do that you also get notifications on market movements

And what you can also do is set up particular price target alerts or percentage movement alerts as well so by clicking on this uh whenever there is like a one or two percent movement in the green i can set up an alert or if it goes down below a certain

Amount i can set up alert that way too i can set up for one time once a day or repeatedly as well and if you’re someone who is a day trader uh this is going to be a very useful feature for you now what we have next is pretty much the chart

For how this specific coin is performing so as you can see i can see my eight hour my one day my one week my one month my three month and my six month performance as well with the six month performance with cardano they’re up twelve hundred percent

Absolutely insane and if i scroll down i can see additional information about this how many tokens are available you can see that seventy percent is available right here you can see the circulating supply the total supply and the max supply as well we can then go into exchanges which will show

Which exchanges are listing this particular cryptocurrency and you’ll see that binance is one of the top exchanges holding a majority of cardano and if we go into info we can learn more about their website learn more about who they are find their white paper through this link and see their rank

As well so they have a market cap of 45 billion and if i did my technicals and my fundamentals and everything and i wanted to purchase something like cardano there’s a big button right here that says buy ada and that’s as simple as it is you can buy it with simple crypto you

Later in this video but for the most point or for the most part this is where you’ll be able to see the diversification of where your cryptocurrencies are in now if i open up my crypto wallet right here i can see the list of different cryptocurrencies and how they’re performing

For this day so crypto has been really bullish lately um if i wanted to see exactly what my top gainers for this day are i just click on the particular coin itself see what they’re trading on for the day i can see how much i’ve staked within it and when i can release

That stake and if i wanted to upgrade this this is talking about that debit card click on it right here and if i decide to stake the next tier which is forty thousand dollars instead of four thousand dollars i’ll be getting their next level card so uh you know you click on this

It says i i have an insufficient balance because of the amount of cro that i have so obviously it’s not going to work but if you’re starting out with a 400 uh cro and you want to go to the 4000 which i feel like is the most common tier

You can go ahead and do that and then just go through the process which is very straightforward i want to talk about this this is converting your crypto dust to cro so this is pretty much like what it sounds dust is any leftover remnants of your crypto

So say you have like a very small balance of cardano because i transferred like i had 19.87 cardano but then i transferred you know 19 cardano into bitcoin so what crypto.com is going to do is they’re going to take that small amount they call it dust and then convert that into cro so

I can convert something now it says v chain i have 71 of them i’ll show you just for the sake of this video review conversion convert to cro conversion has been completed it’s a neat little feature if you want to round up and make sure that you don’t have little crumbs

Laying around in your crypto portfolio so after that we got this uh little time icon on the top right of the screen and that is pretty much just going to share with you your transaction history so if you go through there you’ll be able to see your own buys and trades and

If i click on this share you can actually export your information you can see your export history why do you need to do this why do you need to see a csv you may be a super technical trader and would love to see all your information

But this is most commonly used for taxes and accounting just to see where your trades are now we’re going to skip over the middle logo of the app first we’re going to talk about the tracking feature so the tracking feature just allows you to see the performance of each coin on

Your phone pretty accessibly let’s take a look for example dogecoin i can also set this chart right here so i can see worst performers if i want to see maybe a buying opportunity in different cryptocurrencies but uh we’ll keep it to the top performers for now dogecoin

Like i covered earlier you can see the tokens available you can see the the chart the six month of three month the one month the exchange the info nothing new here just a different spot in the app where you can track the performance of your coins now um the top right here

This little square icon it’s going to be your notification tab and this will give you any type of notifications on price alerts that you may have set on different cryptocurrencies so here is my alert i have bitcoin but any crypto that you star you’re going to get

Natural alerts anyways for that and i have all my alerts set up on crypto.com because you don’t want to miss out when there are crazy price fluctuations so that is something i consistently use now if we go into the card feature right here this is where things get a little interesting so this
