“You Lie Too Much” Brave Congressman HUMILIATES Democrats and The Biden Administration

Mr Speaker while I rise in support of
the rule and I thank uh chairman Burgess
for his leadership on giving members the
opportunity to vote on these packages I
also rise to express my profound
disappointment that the Biden
Administration and Democrats in this
chamber have blocked from being ruled in
order my amendment to cut off a blank
check to Russia’s War Machine it’s
crazy President Biden the US Treasury
Department and Congressional Democrats
are so concerned about my amendment that
they have prevented it from even being
considered or debated before this body
last October the Biden Administration
renewed General license 8 which
authorizes certain energy related
transactions involving Russian financial
institutions what the hell this license
has now been renewed eight times since
the start of Russia’s fullscale
unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and it
continues to undermine measures designed
to curtail Russia’s energy revenues this
license which is the architecture of the
Biden foreign policy on Ukraine has
become a Lifeline for Vladimir
Putin boy it is the symbol of President
Biden’s weakness on Russia the primary
Avenue through which he is financing
Russia’s War Machine and it is the most
prominent example of how the Biden
administration’s radical climate agenda
has collided with its stated policy to
counter Russian aggression wow and it
shows how the Biden administration’s
climate policy conflict conflicts with
our national security coincidentally the
current General license is set to expire
on May 1st my very timely Amendment
would prevent this renewal and would
erode the energy profits that are
refilling Putin’s coffers and funding
his war in Ukraine the sanctions put in
place by the Biden Administration on
Russia’s energy sector a principal
source of revenue for the Kremlin have
been wholly inadequate Russia’s oil and
gas revenues have been rising and
countries like India and China have been
buying Russian oil well above the price
cap put in place seriously enforcement
of the price cap has been poor which has
enabled Russia to to to to uh find non-
G7 insurers and ships for the transport
of a Seaborn crude much more quickly
than anticipated the ease with which
Russia has been able to evade the price
cap calls into question the efficacy and
enforceability of the price cap moreover
another renewal of the of the general
license next month would completely
ignore the efforts Europe has finally
made to diversify its energy supplies
and reverse its dangerous pre-war
Reliance on Russian

that were dependent on Russian energy
sufficient time to diversify their
energy resources but many of those
countries have now effectively

continued issuance of an overly broad
General license in this instance
threatens to repeat the mistakes made in

where the Biden administration’s refusal
to implement strong sanctions against

War Machine coffers through its sale of
energy to the rest of the world exactly
Biden can’t have his cake and eat it too
it’s it’s just
ridiculous uh he cannot pursue a radical
anti-fossil energy climate Crusade at
home and hope to keep Energy prices low
similarly he can’t keep the flow of
Russian crude on the world markets to
bolster Global Supply while reducing
Moscow revenues through an unenforceable
price cap the only way to truly punish
Moscow and deprive Putin of the
financial support he needs to materially
to to prosecute the war is by removing
the general license on the energy
related transactions facilitated by
sanction Russian Banks I guess you’re
right I urge my colleagues to support
this rule but I want the American people
to understand the weakness that the
Biden Administration is showing towards
Russia with that I yield I okay I’m with

um your current budget by my
calculations is $ 48.3 billion is that
right the budget request is for $ 37.8
billion the fy2 budget and that would
constitutes a 3.5% increase over but
with mandatory spend your budget’s 48.3
is that right I I don’t have the number
for including mandatory but I’ll
certainly be able to get back to you for
that you’re let’s take out mandatory
yeah your discretionary budget right now
is 37.8 billion the FY 25 request is for
37.8 that’s not what I’m asking I’m
sorry is he all right upstairs what’s
your current budget well it’s 3.5% less
than that so I I um uh
I can take out my calculator and do the
math but I don’t have it in front of me
all right well let me put it another way
you’re asking for an extra
$467 million is that right uh in the
increased amount of money that we’re
asking for that’s approximately right
yes okay I’m not looking for judgment
just a yes or no to your
knowledge in the past let’s say 40
years has the Department of Justice ever
come before Congress since
said uh we don’t need
anymore we’re going to make it with what
we’ve got in light of the fiscal
circumstances in the
country
um I normally uh wouldn’t want to
speculate but in this case I can’t
imagine that the Department of Justice
facing increasing threats every year
violent crime threats for National
Security um drug trafficking threats uh
would is that a no
I don’t know the answer but I think it
would be surprising if the department
ever asked for less money uh I think
that would be not responsible you talked
in a little bit in your testimony
General about about guns and you’ve been
been very outspoken about the need for
more gun
control
okay um with respect and if you don’t
mind me asking do do you own a gun I
don’t
okay have you ever fired a gun many
times okay do you have 24hour security I
do okay it’s been a waste of time for me
folks I’ll be honest with you been a
total waste of time and you know what
they should be because the American
people are not stupid they see what’s
