Bosch forecasts 50% US Car Sales & 70% of Europe sales to be EVs in 2030
major automotive parts manufacturer
Bosch they say they that most Americans
well at least the American Media are
wrong they are forecasting that they
will need to manufacture a huge amount
of electric parts to go into electric
cars because they say by 2030 around 50%
of all cars sold in the United States
will be fully electric but their
predictions for Europe are even more
aggressive hello my friends welcome to
the channel I’m Sam Evans you’re
watching the electric Viking great to
see you this is this is really good news
because this is one of the biggest
Automotive Parts suppliers in the world
coming out and saying don’t listen to
the media we are acting on what is
really going to happen not on a bunch of
rumors and a bunch of basically a bunch
of malaky which is probably printed by
fossil fuel owned media companies Bosch
forecast half of us new car sales will
be electric by 2030 EVS they also say
that 70% of car sales in Europe in 2030
will be fully electric 70% that’s a big
change from today BOS is launching 30
projects related to Electric Mobility
this year and it believes that the
market will continue to grow through the
end of the decade in North America and
China the supplier expects EVS to
account for between uh they say close to
50% of sales by 2030 now obviously
China’s already hit that number so I’d
say Bosch might change those numbers
Bosch are actually a big major supplier
to China’s automotive industry as well
the company anticipates the hydrogen
Market will grow but more slowly as the
commercial vehicle industry Works to
reduce emissions BOS is predicting that
well emissions that you breathe and all
the toxic fumes you’re breathing in if
you live in a city will come down
they’re saying in America 50% of car
Sals will be fully electric now if
you’re a company that is not taking
electric production seriously in America
you’re going to be in a bit a bit of
trouble because there’s going to be a
lot less demand for your vehicles now
that applies I would say primarily to
Japanese automakers but possibly a bit
to American ones as well Stefan haton
the chairman of the board at Bosch spoke
at the component manufacturers annual
press conference the company is the
largest Automotive supplier on Earth by
Revenue the largest on Earth if the
largest automative supplier on Earth
says something should we believe um the
mainstream media some paper that wants
you that they’re getting paid if you
click Lots or should we believe the
largest automotive supply Part Supply
Company on Earth I think that’s probably
a little more legitimate what do you
think electromobility is coming the only
question is how quickly it will arrive
it will arrive in the various regions of
the world hard said we estimate that 70%
of all new cars in Europe will be purely
not plug-in hybrids not hybrids purely
electric by 2030 that figure will likely
be close to 50% in China and North
America I think it’ll be more than that
in China I think it’ll be closer to 70%
in China That’s based on today’s numbers
which uh yeah I mean EVS are taking off
like wildfire in China over the last few
months that aligns with expectations
from Mass Market Brands like Kia who
believe 40% of its North American Sales
will be Electric in 2030 that might not
be enough but Kia have changed they’re
originally saying 10% last year going
from 10 to 40% that’s a pretty big
difference so you know they’ve still got
a few years to align with what boser
saying sales in the region in America
are likely to be driven by American
regulations which are working to cut
greenhouse gas emissions from the
passenger vehicle Market in half by 2030
but they could be driven by other things
like you know if Tesla can bring out a
$25,000 electric car or even $30,000
that will drive a huge amount of demand
as well but if Tesa can also bring out
or someone can bring out Affordable
Electric pickup trucks with good range
and I believe that’s almost guaranteed
to happen before
2030 that will have a huge impact on the
North American car market too although
the EPA has avoided mandating electric
cars by its own estimates between 30 and
56% of an automaker’s lineup will have
to be electric by 2030 to con to
emissions regulations however the
Republicans are challenging these rules
uh I believe 25
US states have sued the EPA to try to
prevent um the rise of
electrification in America try to just
keep on selling gasoline powered and
Diesel powered cars as long as they
possibly can despite This legal battle
Bosch is preparing itself for a fully
electric future everywhere it is
launching 30 projects for electric
vehicles this year alone the component
manufacturer is working on automated
driving and says that part of its
business is growing 10% per year that
part of its business for self-driving it
believes that that is going to be a key
driver in the automotive industry and
really important for car manufacturers
to have it if they don’t have it they
believe that D that will be a problem
for them trying to sell their cars Bosch
believes hydrogen though has a bright
future this is where I differ the
company notes that the technology is the
quickest path to cut emissions in the
heavyduty commercial vehicle industry it
anticipates that the market for hydrogen
engines will be worth 1 billion per year
by 2030 now even that to be honest is a
pretty small amount of the automotive
industry so 1 billion per year is it
possible yes do I think it’s likely
probably not keep in mind that’s not a
hydrogen fuel sell car that’s simply
hydrogen engines and hydrogen price has
skyrocketed over the past 6 months
meaning it’s now triple the price in
America than what it was a year ago a
lot of people are saying this is just a
situation that is unworkable for that
reason a hydrogen engine said said Bosch
featuring our injection technology will
be on the road in India as early as this
year we’re already working on five
production orders from well-known truck
manufacturers from all three of the
world’s major economic regions but I
should point out those truck
manufacturers themselves even they don’t
believe hydrogen will play a significant
part in their Futures they’ve all said
that publicly Bosch warns that it
doesn’t expect the hydrogen Market in
Europe and North America to see big
growth until the next decade that’s when
we’re probably going to see more
hydrogen being manufactured by the
excess energy that renewable energy will
provide renewable energy once we hit uh
countries where they have 100% renewable
energy more needs to be built out so
generally as Tony sber said you need to
have super energy and that is you have
around 200% of what you really need
because there’s times when there’s no
wind and no sun and then the combination
is needed that extra energy is needed
but 98% of the time you’re going to have
way more energy than you need that
excess energy will be used to
manufacture hydrogen that’s what a lot
of people believe anyway in any case
Bosch will have to weather a tough
2024 the company called its outlook for
the current year subdued and warned it
is not expecting any economic Tailwinds
in other words it’s going to be a tough
year um and the reason is because of
weakness in the industrial sector Bosch
is obviously one of the most well-known
um Automotive brands in the world and
clearly they are the largest and most
important brand a lot of parts that go
into your car or your electric bike or
whatever ever it may be is probably
supplied from Bosch they’re a very very
um powerful automotive manufacturer and
I believe if they’re coming out and
saying 50% in North America by 2030 70%
in Europe by 2030 then there’s a very
very good chance that will happen I
think the numbers will be higher than
that but what do you think guys let me
know in the comments thank you for
watching

No matter the timeframe, when this happens the economies of scale that ICE cars need to be profitable disappear. Not enough buyers to justify continued investment.
How about Europe gets off Russian oil.
There are many factors that are going to affect the rate of EV uptake across each market, not least of which is political will/drive. HYDROGEN will have a future in equipment (example an excavators, graders, tractors, etc) where they are not on the road, and able to recharge or swap a battery easily. I believe charging will get faster, thus increasing peoples perception of EV practicality, and trucks will move to battery swapping, thus maximising uptime. The future is exciting.
No we won’t. If manufacturers can’t get their EVs into hands of people now, they won’t be in the hands of people six years down the road when prices for them are over $100,000. The cost of food, heat, water, everything is going up. People are going to choose food and their families over an EV.
It’s why people in second and third world countries send their children to other countries to get a good education. They are choosing to put food on the table over saving the environment because that doesn’t mean anything to them. Survival does. Same goes for EVs. No one wants them but the tech nerds and musk worshipping retards who want a status symbol.
Really, LMAO. Electric cars will soon be a thing of the past.
EV companies are very smart they have created an increase in demand for EV cars globally. The pie has got bigger for everyone.
Most EU countries have already a 'law' to only accept EV cars sold in their countries from 2035
Estimates are fine. That is their option. Others will have their own options. Time alone will tell. We cannot say that they are more right than any other organisation. Does the prediction suit the growth of their business. Yes, it does.
Lol… EVs lost market share in Q1 2024 in the states.
Quick, headlines, an insider & share holder at Tesla, the Electric Viking says, Tesla's $25k car will not cost $30k.
Like a Bosch
Hydrogen = money LOSER [even with subsidies] EV will be KING and combustion will be for fools that like to waste their money!!
America embracing EVs? Not if the MAGA folks dig their heels in. The outcome of the US elections will also be pivotal in the forward forecast for EVs. Lots of anti-EV hatred in the air in USA. The phrase "over my dead body" comes to mind. Don't underestimate the political divisiveness in USA stalling these optimistic views. Mandates can be rolled back as it's in reality a political position not necessarily a climate goal or clean tailpipe initiative. The Bosch folks have clearly no grip on the stubbornness of the "right leaning" folks in heartland USA.
Bosch lives in lalala land like ELectric Viking!!Ev.Sales going down everywhere on west and for rest of planet its shit anyway
A big reason for me to believe in what Bosch says is that Bosch is a foundation and not an Arab shareholder based business.
No climate deniers or conservatives in 6 years?? That party will avoid EVs as long as possible.
EVs need suspension parts, AC and interior parts, body repair, paint care, door and electric and mirror and blinker parts… some part stores will survive ❤ And many ICE cars will be kept going until 2045 maybe some longer. Needing plenty of repair.
Bosch has sold its engine division to move to electric cars so they are not unbiased.
When the electric car will be replaced by another disruptive technology they will find themself in financial difficulties.
An April 2024 Gallup polls show only 9% of Americans intend to buy an EV, the percentage of Americans who might consider buying an EV at 35% down from 43% in 2023. Hardly encouraging for diehard EV cultists.
News just in from Munich. A pedestrian was hit in the head by a flying German power tool. The unfortunate victim told reporters at the scene "I was just walking along and then 'bosch', it just slammed into me". Here all week.
Sa america marami na electric hindi katolad sa TESLA, naka generator narin pati na sa bahay…TESLA lang walang silbi
Sino maging talonan sila..sayang lang gasto
