    El Salvador’s Bitcoin wallet Cho has
    encountered a security hurdle as a
    hacker group released a portion of the
    wallet source code on a hacking for the
    incident occurred on April 23rd marking
    the latest in a series of breaches
    targeting the country’s cryptocurrency
    project this latest incident involves
    the hacker group posting code Snippets
    used in Cho Bitcoin wallet ATMs across
    El Salvador in their online message the
    group stated this time I bring you the
    code inside the Cho Bitcoin wallet ATM
    in El Salvador remember it is the
    government’s wallet and as you know we
    don’t sell we publish everything for
    free for you
    the breach follows a separate incident a
    few days earlier when the same group
    disclosed personal data of 5.1 million
    Salvadorans nearly the entire adult
    population the hackers claim this action
    is to punish the Salvadoran government
    for refusing to cooperate with them
