Sunset we just did our first honest to
God Temple quest after getting the
pilgrimages out of the way we went to
give a we went to cure an Oran and a
dric ruin of a
disease it was quite an adventure uh
died multiple times we punched a whole
load of wildlife to death uh it was good
stuff honestly it was good stuff uh we
finished all the aldun Mages guild
quests for the
meantime until we get promoted to
conjurer and yeah I guess we’re just
looking for more Temple stuff to do I
think what was our current Temple Quest
oh yeah oh I remember now yes we need to
go to Saran and and convince this false
incarnate that he’s not actually the
Narine or kill him if we fail to
convince him I’d rather not kill him
though I’m going to try and use this
charm spell to uh
you know do it the nice
way
um I think we’ll go rest though

haven’t much cared for the Harvey wi
Steen faction myself although I think it
was probably the first great house I
ever joined in balur in balur in
morrowwind just because it was in
balur there are dozens of them

Saran oh wow I am I am completely yeah
out of Magicka thought maybe I had just
enough there to get the spell off but
apparently

almost useless except for in that one
instance

like the least convenient uh
stronghold location for
sure I’d much rather have like one of
the um big mansions under scar rather
than having the stronghold out in B RIT
begas can’t be
choosers Redan doesn’t have slaves due
to their Warrior ethos yes basically
basically they they view having slaves
as like um laziness
essentially they feel you should be
doing the hard work yourself not getting
slaves to do it for
you as I said pretty based
honestly just that’s pretty hardcore if
you ask
me now then where is this guy I didn’t
recognize him because he’s shirtless in
the vanilla game you may speak he’s
actually wearing clothes in in in in
rebirth Red Mountain spreads Ash and
blight Sinners gather at the house the
the time of the Incarnate is at hand
yeah but you’re a false incarnate mate

you will have a hard time proving
otherwise I’ve seen the message in the

thinking probably not
but I’m wondering if maybe if we got rid
of you know like there’s a whole
unmarked quest in this game involving uh
sixth house bases and sleepers cuz um
you know the sleepers are the guys in
the streets will walk up to you and
start blithering at you about about uh
the sixth house and deur and the reason
they do that is because there is
somewhere near near the town one or more
sixth house bases and if you go through
those bases and you clear them and you
come back into town and talk to the
sleepers again they’re like oh my god
what the hell am I doing what’s
happening cuz they they they they it
shakes them out you know the spell
breaks essentially they’re no longer
under the the influence of the sixth
house when you do that and I’m wondering
although it may not be the case cuz this
guy’s a bit unique in part of a quest
but I’m wondering if there’s a sixth
house base near Saran and if we were to
get rid of
it then that would he would he would
stop having the dreams and therefore
we’d be able to solve the quest that way
but I am skeptical as to whether that or
not that would actually
work out

thought I was getting the same again
apparently I convinced him though

assumed it was the same there must be a
meaning to these dreams perhaps you are

Temple The Descent of this town has been
heartbreaking to watch saram was once a
Pious farming Village but it has become
a center of crime and
debauchery it is a test of our faith
that we might grow stronger in devotion
but is still difficult to witness the
struggles and stumbles of doubters and
those weak in their
conviction yeah perhaps that false
incarnate guy was a symptom of a larger
problem around here
then a previous priest passed away in
service of the tribunal Temple around 20
years ago I was assigned to succeed him
from the balur temple although I was not
a senior as some of the other priests it
was believed that the small suran
congregation did not require someone of
more more experience I would accept any
position assigned to me but give charge
of the San Temple was a great
opportunity and
compliment I when I first arrived it was
much it was much it was much as was
represented to me I attended to the
needs of a small village and the nearby
Farms however began to change when more
settlers arrived in venell the character
of the Town changed to reflect the
secular viewers of house halalu that
started to take a greater interest in us
um the local farms began to disappear
unable to compete with the large
plantations in the ascadian Isles I fear
my inex experience is responsible for
the decline in
worshippers oh don’t beat yourself up
about it that much you’re only doing

best known as resan before the arrival
of the Imperial de morand is the land
that promised to our ancestors by the
promised to our ancestors by the prophet

Nord and orc Invaders over the Millennia

maintain the temple and welcome the

Faith you might be struggling to
understand let’s ask about the Saints
haven’t we haven’t interacted with that
stuff very much each of the greater
Saints and lesser Saints has its own
proper sphere of influence those
worshippers of various walks of life
that the saint has the most sympathy and
affection
for uh the greatest Saints of the temple
listed with their proper spheres are

teachers uh Lord SEL the Mages artifices
Wizards uh Lord VC the poet artists and
Rogues St nval the captain for warriors
and Statesmen and St Vell the pilgrim
for outcasts and
Seekers we haven’t really delved into
who who Sally’s painon Saint would
be have we
perhaps vof the pilgrim Outcast and
Seekers maybe I’m Alexia the warden
healers and
teachers uh we’re not really doing much
healing and teaching are we we did a bit
of healing to be fair we healed that orc
lady there’s a bit of all of them isn’t
there like V the poet artists and Rogues
not so much Rogues but artists yes
what about the Lesser Saints lesser
Saints the temple are St felms the Bold
butcher fish
mongers uh St lothus the pi tailor and
ders St Maris The Peacemaker for farmers
and laborers St roris the Marty for
furnishes and caravaners St aror the
penitent for Tanners and miners St delin
the wise potters and glass makers St Ms
the just for Sailors Chandlers
uh clerks St Realms the barefooted for
pilgrims
Beggars and St sarin the merciful for
Brewers bers and distillers the only one
that really jumps out of me there is
probably uh St realms

within the ghost fence describe a
landscape growing more pestilent they
report confrontations with abominable
creatures that appear to have once been
Elven or
humanoid GRE be stuff I love that creepy
background sense of for boing that
builds up in
morind centered around Red
Mountain there’s a there’s a mod you can
get for the game when you’re doing the
main quest I forget what it’s called but
it’s kind of cool I remember I think it
was spot who played through it a while
ago and was talking about it in
Discord
um but like it adds a few little bit
extra bits to the main quest or whatever
and one of the little features of it is
that as the main quest progresses the
more like the General State of Affairs
on vardell continues to deteriorate
until eventually when you get towards
the end of the main quest you have like
sixth house cultists like openly
preaching in the streets and
stuff as like civil starts to break
down pretty cool to be
honest all right well I don’t think you
have any duties for me do
you
no no no it’s not a temple that gives
duties
got a supply
chest I think we’re good for uh potions
though right
now does that mod repair the state of
Arville after you defeat Deon will Deo
well presumably
yes Shrine of sent lothus Realms here we

Grace so I think
Realms Vic and vof are a kind of three
go to
Saints I’ll Endeavor to use their
shrines when we find
them why don’t that give us anywhere R’s
Grace plus five
endurance

member apparently not it’s probably just
her private quarters down there to be
fair it’s very small Temple
fof Fell’s indwelling does this cancel
out the other one they stack I
forget oh no they don’t they do stack V

woods as that mag’s Guild
quest on that ranis sent us on to go to
solund cuz solon’s around here

kill him get to S por leave balur East
Pass Fort Mayo across the bridge to M
lagur and follow the Trail East until
they reach a lake and you should see a
Dun stronghold to the south north on the
path between the hills I think I can
remember how to get to Sol
pond it’s a bit of a there a bit of a
right of passage in morrowwind is
getting lost on the way to solun but
I’ve done it enough times I think I can
remember mandis is the uh is the is the
ruin that’s me mentioned in the
directions there and that’s the lake so
s there’s a practitioner of reach heaven
through violence I
mean I don’t think
so when we’ve so far we’re never given
we’ve been given the option we’ve
pursued the peaceful path of of
resolving quests

on what’s the T chance on this oh it’s
not great is it all right come on
fatigue I’m just going to stand here in
the water until it comes back

we you need to be careful when you cast
water walking while you’re actually
underwater because there is a small
chance it will insta kill you it’s a
vanilla game

me that really wants to like ESO but
every time I’ve tried to play it I just
bounced off

comes out sometime when I’m in my

all the current upto-date Elder Scrolls
stuff is happening you
know there’s lots of you know lore and
and things and stuff to explore there
but unfortunately being in MMO its core
gameplay is still a

of the time I spend Playing Lord of the
Rings Online just cuz you can’t beat
that talkling World
building uh
but you know every now and again I play
I play a bit of classic wow as well a
lot of that’s Nostalgia but also you
know like World of Warcraft as much as
the next
guy and then I was thinking recently of
trying a bit of Cl old school RuneScape
again and I just like there’s just not
enough time in the week
to play all these MMOs I need to pick
one

breaker I played a bit of the morrowwind
expansion when it came out and that was
kind of all right
eso’s version of Vic and balur were kind
of
cool the quests were relatively
entertaining MMOs are a teens game
because you just don’t have enough time
for them otherwise yeah kind of are
aren’t they
I made a new well classic character
today actually I made an orc
warlock he’s like he’s like an old man
orc with like gray hair and a gray beard
an angry expression I think it called a
scaz draer or
something but it’s funny cuz he’s like
he’s like an old dude and like you you
talk to the beginning NPC and dur and
he’s like oh you finally come of age to
be able to defend oramar or whatever and
I’m like okay sure
buddy my my it’s a classic RPG Trope
that Char player makes an old looking
character and the game treats them like
they’re 18 years
old
um you still play RuneScape at 28 yeah I
know you know lot of lot of people lot
of people still love that game and
probably for good reason to be honest
Pete’s not here right now I don’t think
but I know he he loves a bit of
Runescape or clock or Warlock
I know I toyed with the idea of making a
troll but then I was like no no I’m
going to Scurry back to my orc comfort
zone we not that kind of

of the Rings
online because Lord of the Rings dwarves
are awesome I’ve never been quite so
keen on cheap knockoff tling dwarves
though whether it’s Warhammer fantasy or
World of
Warcraft okay solund right next one on
our list
I’m not I’m not feeling quite as shy
about using these restore magical
potions now because I’ve seen how
quickly they they replenish in the major
skill
chests well this should be
interesting it’s a

reaction I always play Orcs in in WoW
mostly just because I I played Orcs all
the time in Warcraft 2 and
three that’s really what it boils down
to when I when I first played World of
Warcraft I was like Orcs I remember
those [ __ ] from from from all
the warcraft multiplayer sessions I used
to play back in the
day back in the day I say back in the
day like it wasn’t actually at the time
um so I was like yeah [ __ ] it I’m going
to play an
orc and now every time I return to wow
it’s usually with a new or
character it’s kind of why I fancy
playing a bit of Hardcore w at some
point because it’ll actually force me to
roll new characters and play other races
for

this character right now is that the Run
speed is so

running speed that is a classic marrow
wind exploit SL cheese tactic isn’t it
getting the brute of blinding speed and
then using res

go to silon and convince him to join it
is that hard though if you can’t
convince him kill him yeah I don’t want
to do that though I don’t want to kill

vard I would say Paladin but not until
Oblivion she’s a paladin and Oblivion in
this game she’s a
monk we’re not going to think too hard
about that it’s just going to be one of
those things like how like like she’s
like a B’s gate party member whose class
has changed between games for reasons
that aren’t entirely
clear got to keep 1K that’s okay we
might be able to put that to use then um
what exactly do you require of me I

making I’d like to make a really
powerful charm
spell trouble is it’s going to be making
a charm spell I can actually
cast cuz my illusion

Alchemy um and not a full set and most
of its Apprentice gear as well
so restore 6 hp amazing potions I know

Elder Scroll sticks will be like is a

mistake cuz Bethesda themselves made it
very clear that star builds a very
different kind of game to the ones they
usually make I don’t think they have any
plans to add giant
huge procedurally generated Wilderness
like that to to a future Elder Scrolls
game particularly considering the
critical reception to that has been very
poor hooray we got 10 gold and some
lockpicks and probes and stuff
I think Starfield is a fine game I enjoy
it well
enough I thought the approach was
interesting
it was a very big call back to dager
fall frankly CU dagger fall is an
extremely similar kind of game to
Starfield in many
ways but equally based on what I’ve
played with them so far Starfield has
like the best faction Quest quest lines
that Bethesda has done in a very very
long time also same goes for the side
quest frankly as well probably probably
the best side quests since
Oblivion in Starfield I feel that
probably sounds like an exaggeration but
honestly I don’t it’s
not Starfield has some quality side
quests and faction quest
lines h

Starfield is really suffering for not
having a creation kit at the

unfortunately it’s really stifling the
game’s potential at the
moment but um it seems they’ve halted
Starfield patch development for the most
part to work on Fallout 4 because the TV
series came out and it’s
popular and

I’m only like 2% bitter about
that need X Springs in my Starfield yeah
come on get the [ __ ] creation kit out
now so that the lunatic modders can
start working on the inevitable Star
Wars mod

mod we’re really the the the modern
community of late has been really
abusing the uh the term DLC

a mod that you allowed you to uh like do
some really funky stuff without Outpost
building like you could build like towns

with it and stuff and you could have
mechs and whatnot but it’s Pro I haven’t
tried it but it’s probably super Jank
because it’s been made without the
construction set and um see that’s how
old school I am I still call it the
construction set instead of the the
creation kit but
um it’s probably super Jank and also
it’s not remotely law friendly either
cuz it’s got Mech in it and uh I know
that the reason mechs are banned in
universe is probably just because
Bethesda couldn’t be asked to make them
work in the game I say couldn’t be asked
just probably didn’t have the time to
make them work in the game but
regardless it’s still not does that
still doesn’t make it
any uh any more LW accurate

to try and reconcile how different the
original series looked to how Next

looked and they made the weird the
interesting decision to just try and
make it all Cannon anyway regardless of

one of them as like a different artistic
vision of Tam

reasons which is and and and when you go
down that kind of path of thinking
that’s how you’re able to have cool
stuff like Skyrim home of the
Nords because you can have the the Morin
Style version of Skyrim as opposed to
the Skyrim version of Skyrim for
instance or
the Skyrim version of cidel in the form
of you know
uh Beyond Skyrim cidel or broer or it’s
just broer now isn’t it but it will be
cidel
eventually I didn’t soul trap him but
that’s

you get awarded children
afterwards do you not
remember there’s a lot of waterways in
cidel as well so I imagine the fishing
industry in cidel is probably quite big

to the shrine of Valor in K but oh
no I wish I hadn’t talked to this guy

you know Oblivion Oblivion oblivion’s
version of cidel is kind of a
wasteland there’s really not a lot going
on outside the cities
but it’s kind of why unique Landscapes
is an aut to include for me every time I
play Oblivion I can’t I just can’t play
the game without
it cuz unique Landscapes had some really
nice Farms especially around the the
valley around the Imperial City add a
whole bunch of like sheep farms and
stuff up
there with like thick bcar style Hedges
and stuff
they all the different town and Village
mods for living yeah me too like with
mods you can really populate cidel big
time like the current install I have
with jazer is probably one of the
favorite ones I’ve ever done because
you’ve got unique Landscapes and all
that stuff but on top of that I’ve got
all the the little town mods like farill
and such and all that sort of stuff
which really fleshes The Province out
and makes it
feel properly settled and populated
going the wrong way the Temple’s up
there isn’t it
