Mr chairman we thank Mr jansik and Mrs ni R Dev for their reports and thank American political Observer Larry Johnson for his detailed presentation Mr Johnson who has extensive experience in the field of anti-terrorism including the work of the United States government agencies clearly shows how absurd and absurd any attempt by the United States authorities and their allies to turn a blind eye and dangers for navigation in this part of the Baltic Sea given the seriousness of the crimes committed many of our colleagues I advise the security Council are pinning their hopes on the results of the national investigations launched immediately after the terrorist attacks in Germany Denmark and Sweden we immediately EXP expressed our skepticism about this because Berlin Copenhagen and Stockholm refused to cooperate with Russia as a stakeholder these doubts have been exacerbated by the fact that these countries have flatly refused to address the security Council to talk about its work and to confine themselves to the spread of empty and ambiguous words letters however their allies in the security Council have turned a blind eye to this and have urged other members of the council to do the same they say let the three countries work without any pressure and present concrete results at the same time as a mantra they reiterated their full trust in the authorities of these countries and their confidence in the effectiveness of their investigative actions under these pretexts Western members of the the security Council did not support two Russian initiatives last year the security Council draft resolution directs the Secretary General of the United Nations to submit proposals for the establishment of an international independent commission under the aices of the organization to investigate the incident and a draft statement by the president of the security Council expressing concern about the lack of information from the International Community during the investigation as a result the Russian Federation has been repeatedly warned of this dangerous situation by some other colleagues the Security Council is beginning to be implemented before our eyes in February the security Council was informed that the Danish and Swedish authorities had terminated their National investigations they found nothing the only concrete conclusion is that it has been drawn the first few days after the terrorist attack the conclusion is that the nordstream branch was intentionally destroyed by an explosive device moreover despite this fact it shows that there is no reason to continue the criminal case of jurisdiction proceedings that is to say there is a crime but no one will identify the culprits and bring them to justice it’s as if a year later following the course of the murder investigation the investigation will conclude that the victim has been killed the script which is more like a theatrical script of the Absurd we know that Sweden Denmark Germany have just circulated another letter that adds nothing to what we can say today however this is a fair situation for Western members of the security Council their allies inconclusive conclusions do not seem to all surprising contrary to basic logic Western colleagues tried to push the Copenhagen Water Project from Stockholm for an efficient and impartial investigation those who have been reminiscent for a year have only concluded that the gas pipeline has exploded at the same time it presents logic that we cannot understand they sought to remove from the text any wording that suggested the possibility of collective efforts to establish the circumstances of the incident after the ongoing investigation in general throughout the work of the text Western colleagues have eloquently exposed themselves need is to keep the issue out of the security council’s focus and cover up their allies who do not provide any useful information to the International Community and those who refuse to cooperate with Russia in particular article 10 to refer to the International Convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings to which we have referred in this regard I would also like to point out that all requests by the Russian authorities for cooperation within the framework of the investigation into the nordstream terrorist attack have been addressed to their colleagues in European countries conducting investigations were consistent and demonstratively ignored if we get any answers they’re just official on subscriptions we circulated a copy of the correspondence to the security Council in Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzia once again drew the attention of colleagues to the fact that a year and a half has passed since the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, and there is practically no investigation in this case. Of the three countries that started investigating the attacks, two — Denmark and Sweden — have stopped investigating the case.

Germany is still investigating, but neither any of its results nor any details are known. They are not shared with Russia, so it is impossible to judge whether it is really ongoing or the case has been put on the brakes for a long time.

The fact is that after a year and a half, neither the executors nor the customers have been identified. And all attempts by Russia to create an independent international commission under the auspices of the United Nations to investigate what happened are met with open resistance from Western countries.
