NEW Cardano and Ethereum AIRDROP! This Is BIG – APEX Fusion

the Apex Fusion light paper has just been released with a huge piece of information surrounding a cardano based airdrop we’re expecting about 90 million of the total 3 billion Apex tokens going back to the cardano community as an onboarding process as a part of today’s video not only do I want to highlight the upcoming airdrop and I can potentially participate but I also want to highlight everything else listed in their light paper what what’s up crypto folks welcome to DAP Central your home for everything blockchain and crypto I’m your host here freed today I’ve got some breaking news surrounding the Apex Fusion blockchain we just got the official release of their light paper and there’s a lot of information I want to go ahead and break down for today’s video now this will still be an overview of the entire light paper I’ll have additional videos coming out breaking down each of the sections but in a nutshell we have some pretty big updates when it comes to the architecture of Apex Fusion we’ve also got some updates surrounding the Apex Vision portal their reputation system their endorsement Center and then there’s also an upcoming airdrop now this is not only for the cardano community there’s also going to be an airdrop for the evm community as well now the majority of the allocation for the airdrop will be going towards the cardano ecosystem so do keep that in mind but without any further Ado let’s go ahead and jump right on in so if you’re just hearing about Apex usion for the very first time it’s a blockchain aiming to to solve a pretty big problem here which is the divide or the division between the utxo model which Bitcoin Litecoin and cardano use and the evm model which other networks for example like ethereum salana and BNB also go ahead in use now I’ve released some content already touching on apex Fusion highlighting you know the foundation highlighting their Manifesto their core beliefs I’ve also talked about some of the launch Partners which include Charlie 3 Anastasia Labs Jer wallet just to name a few from the kurdo ecosystem and there’s tenderly in a few other platforms also coming along for the ride when it comes to the evm side of the equation so please make sure to go a and check out those prior videos hopefully you do find them to be helpful um I try to sort of lay down the foundation as I plan to cover Apex Fusion on the channel here as we get closer to the launched now I do want to take a moment to also highlight a couple of questions that I’ve received in the community which include when token when launch and where can I actually buy the Apex token so I’ll do my best here um of course the team will have to um announce this themselves but I’ve been trying to gather as much information here as possible for you guys so again if you guys do enjoy updates like these I would appreciate you if you could smash that thumbs up if it’s your first time stopping by DB Central and you want more coverage of Apex Fusion consider subscribing and last but not least if you have any questions then make sure to leave them down below so let’s go ahead and jump right into this um I want to start off by highlighting for anybody who is more visually aware or who just prefers visuals you can go ahead and watch the light paper series breaking down all of the portions included in the light paper now the team has gone through and broken these down into 14 separate videos literally if you watch them in order from video number one all the way to 14 you’ll be able to have a better understanding of what Apex Fusion is and all of the little bits and pieces in between which include the labs arm we have the foundation arm I talked about the reputation system um everything that you need to know about Apex Fusion can literally be found here in this particular playlist so I’ll leave that particular link down below but let’s go ahead and actually take a look at the light paper itself as always the link to this will be left down below it’s about 40 or so Pages or excuse me 30 or so pages and in terms of the table of contents we’ve got the introduction highlighting the team’s core principles we’ve also got a section f focusing on apex Fusion talking about the Apex token which will be the native governance token which is only available on the prime Network which is the foundational layer one and then on top of that we have Nexus which is a layer two right but that’s for hosting evm applications and then we also have a vector which is an additional Layer Two focusing on the integration or adoption of utxo based apps now between that we have the reactor router which allows for liquidity and assets to flow freely between prime they layer one for staking and then vector and Nexus now after that there’s a section touching on the Apex Vision portal where they break down uh the reputation system their endorsement Center and the voice of web 3 which is dealing with support for highquality content and content creators following that we’ve probably got the biggest and the most important piece here which is the tokenomics overview now I’m going to quickly touch on the tokenomics but but again keep in mind I’ll have a separate video diving deeper into the entire light paper following that we’ve got the close out touching on ecosystem governance where they highlight what the um Apex Foundation is its goals and its Mission okay let’s go ahead and jump straight into the first piece here which is the introduction and so it states here our vision is to create a thriving in and interconnected blockchain ecosystem where communi seamlessly collaborate and share resources liquidity and knowledge now now for the sake of time I’m not going to read all of this here but that’s really their goal in nutshell right is to combine the evm and the utxo worlds and potentially even any other sort of accounting model that comes after the fact right so we’ve heard about cardano specifically by name we’ve heard of ethereum by name and there’s also been mentioned of Cosmos or the cosmos ecosystem now Cosmos itself is essentially a mega Bridge right or Hub of different protocols that can communicate um or uh interoperate directly within the cosmos universe and so if we get evm we get cardano and we also add Cosmos that would cover I would say 80 to 90% of all the blockchains already out there so um hopefully you guys can sort of see the offering here um in terms of liquidity in terms of throughput adoption and unity next we have the portion focusing on apex itself again check out my prior video where I’ve broken down the actual architecture but as a quick recap we have the prime Network which is based off of the or Bor um proof of stake consensus protocol which cardano uses and that’s their utxo based layer one now this is solely used for staking and generating or um creating the Apex token which can then be sent with the bridge over to Nexus or vector now the prime Network I believe is fully decentralized so similar to cardano anybody can come along and run a note and I’ll actually be looking into doing that myself um given the fact that it should be a pretty similar setup to running notes Here on cardano now next we have Vector which is the utxo layer 2 so imagine uh any sort of dap that’s built um on a utxo chain being able to Port their existing application into the Apex ecosystem deploy that and get exposure um liquidity and even more adoption now this will be operating on a centralized um node set so this will allow for faster throughput but it does come with that piece of centralization again keep in mind the decentralized aspect is on the layer one now in addition very similarly we have Nexus which is where all the evm based apps can deploy their protocols too and this will also be using a set of permissioned nodes allowing for faster throughput and faster settlement times now both of these L2 will also have very low or relatively low um transaction fees given the fact that a lot of the action will be taking place on the prime Network and that’ll have higher fees to incentivize people to actually um do their transaction or interact directly on the l2s last but not least we’ve got the reactor router which is how assets are able to flow between all of the chains again keep in mind that the prime layer one is the only place where the Apex token is generated from there it can flow freely to and from vector or Nexus the next piece I want to talk about is the vision portal so the Apex Vision portal as it states here is a state-of-the-art web app that seamlessly Aggregates all interactions between ecosystem stakeholders it’s designed to be a mobile first secure frictionless and engaging platform that will provide continuous interactions with users now they also break down the reputation system again I’ll read a quick piece here where it states that the Apex reputation system is a repository of decentralized metrics or scores that evaluates a user’s credibility based on their contributions in conduct across the Apex ecosystem now we’ve had a couple of protocols in cardano try something very similar I know that we have the agx ecosystem which has had deep funding which has proposed reputation scores to give some sort of credibility um to a particular wallet or wallet address and very similarly igon team has prop put out a proposal for what they dubbed stature which was basically the same exact thing now scrolling down they talk a little bit about what they use to calculate the scores for the reputation system which include participation and governance protocol contributions token Holdings in whether or not you’re staking prior transaction history your Debs or decentralized identity potential endorsements conduct and ecosystem Ali assignments now that then takes you to the next piece which talks about the endorsement Center but before I get to that they also highlight some of the different roles that you can be assigned within the Apex ecosystem so we have different sort of badges or niches which include technical contributors Community Builders infrastructure providers content creators protocol partners and ecosystem Advocates now they talk about the gamification of the platform some of the um counter measures that are currently in place to make sure that that doesn’t happen and a lot more there as well again don’t worry I’ll be diving deeper into this um but as you can see here quite a bit of information to sort of sift through which is why I want to provide you guys with this quick overview and then we’ll dive into some of the specifics later now they talk about the endorsement Center which basically allows for you if you’re member within Apex already to endorse another person and if that endorsement is valid and that person actually contributes and um provides value to the ecosystem that also reflects positively on you similarly or convert ly if you endorse somebody and they have a bad reputation or end up being a bad actor that also potentially reflects on you now I know a lot of people are torn about the identities and some of these sort of um onchain tracking systems but think about this right these are ways to deter Bad actors so if somebody wants to um be a good actor right they’re now able to show that off right quantitatively with some of the metrics or some of the measures or scores that I highlighted up above it also makes it for anybody who’s a bad actor to continue to be a bad actor right because over time it’ll be quick or it’ll be easy for you to know um you know how a wallet has behaved in times prior and for example even with like a dii protocol right imagine wanting to put out alone and wanting to better understand how trustworthy is a particular person now yes some people might say we operate in a trustless environment that is true but this at least gets people that want the uh the ability to be able to um have faith or to put trust in a particular transaction the ability to do that so I’m sort of torn between this piece here but again um I want to break down why and some of the benefits but I’m also open to hearing about some of the reasoning as to why this may not be a really good solution so um depending on how you feel go ahead and make sure to leave a comment down below now here we have the best piece here which is the tokenomics so as it stands there’s going to be a total of three billion Apex tokens and we have 27% going towards their Labs now Labs will be basically in charge of all of the technology making sure to do the R&D um basically providing anybody in the entire ecosystem with all the tooling that it needs in order to thrive and mature now we have 10% going towards contributors we’ve got 5% going towards the team 8% towards operations and then 3% towards early contributors next we have the big highlight which is the airdrop so as it stands we have three separate airdrops as a part of the first wave there’s going to be 3% going towards the cardano ecosystem and 1% going towards the evm ecosystem so it looks like they’re prioritizing cardano first and in terms of the evm side I wonder if it’s just going to be eth could it also be polygon there’s a lot of layer twos within the evm space but there’s no clarification as to what particular ecos system that will be now that’s approximately 120 million of the Apex tokens being given out to the community for that very first wave now they do also mention wave number two and wave number three which will collectively put out 4% of the total Apex Supply but they don’t break down the ecosystem so I’ll be keeping an eye out to see if there’s more information surrounding that in terms of inflationary Rewards or staking rewards that’s going to be a 20% allocation followed by an Investor’s um portion which we have 3% going towards pre-launch and then 7% towards postlaunch and then we have the foundation which I’ll talk a little bit more about here which is going to be getting about 27% of the total Supply in terms of venture funds this will be for tier one Partnerships right bringing in the big guns we have 8% of the total Supply going towards that again check out the light paper on your own if you want to break down of all the details they do highlight all the different categories and sections and exactly um how the funds will be out at to them last but not least we have the foundation so it states you the foundation is an entity established to Foster the Apex ecosystem and to nurture a sense of unity amongst a globally distributed Community it entrusts the community with essential decision concerning fund allocations governing policies strategy research training and essential Partnerships so a very similar structure to what we have here with iog sort of being the quote unquote labs in cardano and and we have the cardano foundation who’s more of a strategic entity right aiming to collaborate on board and spread the knowledge about the cardano ecosystem and all the builders inside of it so the very last thing I want to highlight as a part of today’s video is when when when that’s definitely the biggest question I’ve received here so far and so in terms of when the platform will actually go live on the main net it looks like they are still building obviously they’ve announced some of the partners but it looks like they’re in the test net phase now this is complete speculation on my end but I person think that we should see the actual protocol or the blockchain launching anytime between the next 60 to 90 days so somewhere around June to potentially August of course within this web 3 space things can change but of course as well once we do have an official date I’ll make sure to go ahead and let you all know now in terms of where to actually buy the Apex token there’s been no talks about that yet um again once that of information is available I’ll make sure to release an updated video but I would assume that it’ll be supported on some pretty big um centralized exchanges but of course if you don’t want to go ahead and pick it up that way there should be a way especially with the airdrop to connect a wallet if it if there is utxo support and to claim those tokens from the airdrop directly in the um Nexus blockchain and then from there you can go ahead and do whatever you want now I would also think that with some of their launch partners that they’ll be bringing along dexes which will allow for liquidity bootstrapping directly on the blockchain and so that’ll be a little bit more technical technal right but if you have the expertise or the knowhow you could also pick up the token that way again make sure to stay tuned here I’ll make sure to provide you guys with a fully dedicated a tutorial breaking all that information down um I think that’ll be it for today’s video you know really again uh uh introduction to Apex touching on their light paper that was just released and hopefully giving you guys some value here breaking it down in a couple of minutes as always if you do enjoy content like this and if you just learn anything along the way I would appreciate you if you could smash that thumbs up if it’s your first time stopping by and you want more content like this breaking down Apex Fusion consider subscribing and last but not least if you have any questions then leave them down below that said and as always I’ll see you guys in the next video

    1. 💌Thank you for watching Cardano Community, I really appreciate it!

😇If you'd like to support the channel while earning $ADA, $METERA & $CERRA, consider delegating with the DAPP stake pool!

    2. Thanks for the alpha on the nuvola pre-sale launch I hope you got some this token went 6X in a couple weeks …..appreciate the valuable information brother

    3. i think we need to know names. who is developing this chain? how come no one is named? and, why would you endorse centralization? isn't this the opposite of what we strive for?

    4. Their videos and lite paper are full of corporate speak. I must be missing something, but I don't get what specific problem(s) they are trying to solve and why their approach is the best way to solve them.

    5. Cardano has a huge syssem behind it and in particular ADA is one of the coins I am happy to trade on Fybit. It is also in my investment portfolio. We'll see how the predictions come true, but I'm counting solely on formations))

    6. What i want to know how this helps or going to help cardano, will this be like midnight a sidechain?

And hows the relation between the ex dev worker from IOG which left iog and started apex fusion?
