hello everyone in today’s video I will be talking about a very very controversial subject and that is icos and I will be giving every single one of you two projects that I think are here to solve a major problem with crypto which is you and me are not able to get in early on anything and what we get is basically the leftovers and these two projects I will be mentioning at the end of the video will help you and me the common guy the little guy become wealthy how by letting us get in early on the best up and coming projects in crypto the idea for this video started with a tweet by Chris berisi where he was quoting CZ in a very old post where CZ said icos are actually great icos are amazing and honestly I think Chris berisi is right why icos allow for higher circulating Supply at launch and also better Capital distribution as we see in his tweet I C gave the market a less distorted Market structure and better Capital distribution and you have to thank your local regulator for outlawing the little guy from getting in early on these projects these days if you’re not an accredited investor you have no chance of getting in early on these protocols and he picked up this tweet from CZ from 2018 where CZ said icos not just good to have but icos are necessary so let’s get deeper on this idea so we can understand it Regulators outlawed all of us from participating in the technological revolution in crypto and that’s also one of the main reasons why we have this meme Mania because we can’t get rich on the tech so we have to get rich on the memes but here are the main key takeaways from the CZ report raising money through icos is about 100 times easier than through traditional VCS imagine two otherwise identical locations one has 100 times more well-funded startups what would their relative speed of technological advancement and economical development be which country will become wealthier over time which country will be able to collect a 100 times more taxes which government would have more influence therefore more power over time the one with a 100 times more investment or the other one where all you have is regulation regulation regulation here’s the idea icos versus traditional VC funding cz’s first point is the following the courting of VC investors and their possible totalitarian demands which honestly are not needed you will need PowerPoints business plans pitch decks executive summaries term sheets investment agreements offshore company structure setups a bunch of reports or number two all you have to do is you write an awesome white paper about your passionate dream project you raise $20 million in 10 days or a week from thousands of passionate people around the globe who one speak your language and two understand your vision three see your product with the same exact eyes and spend every single day better testing your product and nonstop Shilling it in the market obviously two is much better the counter points are there is a notion that professional investors are better than regular retail while true and professional VCS are better at due diligence of course scams exist everywhere most icos and new startup projects have a high rate of failure and are bound to fail but at least the man on the street gets the on something that could potentially be amazing and huge and not letting us in helps create this me Mania and this senseless degeneracy because we’re not able to get rich on the technology here’s my favorite part from this 2018 CZ report while some professional VC investors are truly experts in their field and genuinely trying to help entrepreneurs I find the vast majority of professional VCS have no clue about the projects or fied the investing these are harsh words many of them have zero startup experience don’t even have a basic understanding of the Technologies involved in their fields and also many VCS do not use the products or the companies they invest in I agree with this part of not using the products because a lot of us who actually use blockchains every single day and are doing trading with meme coins Etc I look at some of the VCS and their takes on say the whole mem coin Mania and I can tell they do not use these protocols they do not use them at all or Farm These these airdrops and just to finish off he says today they’re probably more of these professional VC funds than there are startups Austin federa from the solena foundation agrees and he said this is such a good take every reputable Network founder I’ve talked to says in private they wish they’d been able to do talking about is tenet and tenet did almost 20x and then there’s also protocols that have a lot of potential currently they haven’t exploded yet but these are very serious projects like for example turbos toos Finance is one of the main protocols on sui one of the most interesting for sure even though it only did 1.4x I think projects like turbos Finance have a lot of potential where else you get opportunities to get in on these very very good projects another one that has been doing very well on sui is suip pad and suip Pad did 6.5x which is amazing if you want to invest say in gaming here you have three kingdoms Heroes and Empires this one did 86.7 x three kingdoms did 37.6 X so you have a little bit of everything currently I invested in this layer one called Masa blockchain which raised almost 100x more than what they were asking for the Massa raise was 600k but the public sale tvl was $20 million and so as you can see Dow maker is doing precisely this and is solving one of the biggest issues and problems with this industry right now there’s also a very interesting mention I will leave the link in the description down below this protocol hasn’t launch that it’s called echo.
