Yemen’s Houthis were approached by the U.S. to ink a pact to stop attacks in the Red Sea, reports The National. The report, citing Yemeni political sources, said that Houthis rejected ‘incentives’ offered by Washington in return for halting attack on vessels. The U.S. proposal reportedly included lifting the blockade on the Capital Sanaa and Hodeidah port.
