Hello,
I've been accumulating a moderate amount of Bitcoin over the past year and a half. I don't have that much, but I'm a believer in it.
I have a friend (not US citizen) who is going overseas to work with a non-profit and I'm planning to support him with $30 a month. And I'm wondering if I could send him Bitcoin instead of USD.
I don't think he knows what Bitcoin is, so by doing this I can 1) promote Bitcoin adoption, 2) introduce my friend to it, 3) make him richer as Bitcoin grows (if he doesn't cash it out).
But I have no idea how to do this lol. All I have is Bitcoin in cold storage in a Blockstream Jade which I withdraw from an exchange. I've never transacted with it before.
How would I get it set up? And is it economically feasible, i.e. how much would the transaction costs be?
Thanks so much!

What country is he visiting and is your friend a citizen of that country?
