More than ever, the mining business is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate due to lower ore grades, higher ESG demands, and now the added challenges due to COVID-19. However, all of these challenges can be combated by implementing various technologies. In this talk, I will introduce 5 low-cost technologies that will help mining companies with improving their operations and financing by focusing on productivity, safety, cost reduction, and increasing visibility to global investors. These technologies are ideal for mines in developing countries as they can be scaled across multiple sites within the company at a low cost.
