Will Germany impose sanction on Russian vessel involved in Nord Stream 2?

On 18 Jan, the German Economy Ministry said that the U.S. has informed #Germany that it plans to impose sanctions on a Russian pipe-laying ship.
The vessel is involved in construction of the Russian-led #NordStream2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany which would bypass Ukraine, depriving it of lucrative transit fees.
