John McAfee Predicts the Future Of Ethereum, Bitcoin And Crypto

In this interview, software magnate and crypto investor John McAfee talks about the importance of blockchain and how it will change the financial ecosystem. He also touched on the McAfee Alliance.
McAfee affirms that decentralized exchanges are coming and when that happens, the crypto community will be free because no government can regulate It.
Asked about the seeming rivalry between Bitcoin and Ethereum, McAfee notes that it’s not a matter of Bitcoin and Ethereum, as there are now 5,000 coins. He adds that it’s not a matter of winning; it’s a matter of individual choice of a coin to use for any specific function. For example, you can have the ice cream token, the movie token, and the rest.
McAfee sees the blockchain as the obvious solution for multiple vote problems where a voter moves from one precinct to another to vote. With the blockchain, he says, you can validate a person’s identity and guarantee one person, one vote. He believes that the blockchain will solve most of the world’s problem of deception because if the blockchain had been in existence since the beginning of human history, we would have the totality of the truth of everything that happened.
The blockchain, McAfee maintains, will permeate every aspect of human lives from social to financial. It will keep a record of everything you’ve done and it will even invade individual privacy. Blockchain, he adds, is powerful because it’s not under human control. Rather, it’s under the control of mathematical formulas which are always truthful. So, the blockchain will transform culture and human relationships for the better.
Asked about his political career, McAfee says that running for the presidency in 2016 gave him the chance to talk about cybersecurity then. He adds that if he intends to run now, he’ll focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Concerning the McAfee Alliance, he explains that the initiative is a way of collecting information about scammers in the crypto industry. The alliance, he maintains, is based on reality and truth and is important because cryptocurrency is an unregulated industry where you have to take care of yourself.
McAfee concludes that in two years, the blockchain will have decentralized exchanges which can’t be shut down by the government because the exchanges are running on over 10 million devices which no government can stop.
