After 106 days stuck in Suez Canal waterway, the shipping vessel at the centre of the infamous trade blockage has been released.
The Ever Given was held in the Suez Canal since March of this year as recompense for blocking the trade route for six days.
The ship has been released after a compensation deal was agreed upon between the vessel owners and canal authorities.
The financial agreement will cover the cost of salvaging the vessel from the canal and the losses from the week the ship was stuck.
