Institutions are coming for Bitcoin and I have the data to prove it. In this video, Michael Saylor explains the easiest way to become rich – buy Bitcoin.
And from all the data coming out – he’s not wrong. Recently Coinbase announced their quarter 2 financials and they were eye opening to say the least.
Although it was packed with information I want to draw your eyes to 1 Key Metric. Take a look at the total trading volume for Coinbase and check out the increase in institutional volume in the first half of 2021.
Not only is it making up over double the Retail volume, but it’s increasing at an incredible rate. For those that don’t know, Coinbase is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, and they facilitate the big institutional purchasing of Bitcoin.
For example, they were the broker that helped Tesla buy 1.5 Billion dollars of Bitcoin. With Coinbase themselves announcing that they will be investing 500 million dollars of their own balance sheet into Cryptocurrency, and Visa announcing they are adding NFT’s to their balance sheets, we have truly just seen the beginning of the institutional tsunami coming for Bitcoin.
