Hi all. I recently moved from NY to NJ and I work remotely. I moved on the third of this month and my HR is asking me to lie on my W4 about when I moved so it can align with the pay period.
So my question is- is this legal? It’s been 18 days since I have moved and I am still paying NY taxes… is there some additional form I will need to fill out when I file to correct this?
