I filed my 2024 taxes in February and they still haven't been approved. Has anyone else experienced this? I recently realized I made some mistakes on my taxes. I accidentally submitted the information from Form 1099 for 2023 instead of Form 1099 for 2024, and I also submitted information from pay stubs instead of W-2s because my employers were late in sending them,"I currently have all my w-2s" Do you think that's why my taxes haven't been approved? I've received several letters from the IRS. The first one said my taxes would be delayed because they were reviewing my amounts. Then they sent me three more letters, each saying to wait 60 days. I haven't received any since September. Almost a month ago, I called the IRS and the representative said there were no visible updates on my taxes and that I should call back in a month for updates. Should I file an amendment? I spoke with my tax preparer and he told me to wait, that the IRS would adjust any discrepancies I might have in error and that it would be approved eventually. Any recommendations?

      Yes.

File an amended return as soon as possible to correct all errors.
