I realized I didn't claim some capital loses for 2023 and filed an Amendment in 2025 when I did my 2024 taxes.
I got a letter from the IRS in the mail on 6/5/25 saying I should get a check for $500 in 2-3 weeks.
I never got that check.
Online it says on 6/30/25, "Your Form 1040-X has completed processing resulting in a refund, balance due, or no tax change."
I didn't owe anything at that point as I paid my taxes.
I know it's late now.
Do I just assume the check was lost in the mail? And ask them to reissue?
What do I do?
Never received check for Amended Return

This is fairly common with amended returns. Since the IRS letter confirmed a ~$500 refund and the online status shows your Form 1040-X was processed, the refund was authorized, amended return refunds are almost always issued by paper check. If you haven’t received it by now, the next step is not to wait, but to request a refund trace.
You can do this by calling the IRS (800-829-1040) or by filing Form 3911. The IRS will check whether the refund check was never cashed (in which case they’ll reissue it) or if it was cashed and needs further investigation. Do not file another amendment….the return is already processed; this is purely a delivery issue.
Log into your account on the IRS website (*not* the “where’s my amendment” tracker), look for Transcripts, and look at your account transcript for 2023. Does it show that they issued the refund check?
If yes, then you probably need to initiate a trace to find out what happened to it and whether the IRS can easily re-issue it: https://www.irs.gov/faqs/irs-procedures/refund-inquiries/refund-inquiries-0
