First real Monday back and suddenly… it’s tax season

Today was the day it really hit.

I woke up, logged in, opened their inboxes, and all of a sudden it was obvious tax season is here.

The questions came in right away. You could tell a lot of folks spent the weekend realizing, “Oh… yeah. I should deal with this,” and Monday was the moment it all landed.

There’s something about that first real Monday every year. The calendar flips, you look up, realize there are about 99 days until April 15, and you mentally settle in.

Good luck to everyone here…preparers, industry folks, and taxpayers. Long stretch ahead, but this subreddit always ends up being one of the places people come when they’re trying to make sense of it all.
