Hi! Many of my acquaintances were able to get 3-5 months of ft employment with the Sacramento/Rancho office of the Franchise Tax Board waaaay back when, like the 80s to the early aughts afaik. Do they still do this, or has automation and online filing eliminated these roles? I believe they were mostly data entry, but it's been a while … and I don't see anything like that on their job site yet.
[Background] Due to a TBI two years ago, I'm trying to start a career in clerical/admin work because Data Analytics is now a bit out of the range of my ability to memorize. I can, however, do a really good job at semi-complex work that doesn't require learning new coding languages every year.
TIA for any advice on getting a job at FTB – or anywhere I can get work like this without a whole lot of recent experience.
Temp work at FTB California Sacramento during tax season?
