I need to file a final 1120-S since I dissolved my side business. I had no expenses, no charges, nothing. The business has been inactive and I wanted to make last year my final filing but I didn't dissolve it in 2024, so this will get to be my last year. The problem is I cannot recall how I did this online last year. I know I didn't pay anyone to do it and I could have sworn I did it online myself through the IRS, but the problem with IRS.gov is it's just a ton of links to pages without giving direct answers about how to file an 1120-S online. It tells you that MeF partners EXIST and gives you a list of them, but I can't find anything saying whether you can or cannot file it online through the IRS (and I cannot afford to pay an MeF partner). I had this same issue last year and it took forever but I eventually found the info and I swear I did it online. However, I'm drawing blanks as to how. It's not free fillable forms b/c 1120-S is apparently not one of the forms available, so where do I go? How do I do this online through the IRS? TYIA
How to fill out 1120-S through IRS site? Trying to avoid fees charged by MeF partner sites.
