Hello everyone, It has been 7 months since I came to US for working on W2. I just learnt about all this tax stuff so I haven’t file anything and payed anything.
I’m a non alien resident on j1 and I think I have to pay ~270 usd to IRS. Can you please guide me? Most of the providers doesn’t support nonalien residents, ones that support asks for me to mail the documents.
What should be my first step? Pay the 270 usd now—->pay for extension——> post the mails.
This is my plan so far, if this is true can you help me with the process because I am really lost at the moment. If I pay 270usd as balance due, how am I going to do the extension?
