Can I visit an IRS office out of state

Just found out that I need to verify my identity for the tax return I submitted for 2025. I submitted via Turbo Tax and couldn’t verify online since IRS does not have my bank account number on record to verify (refund will be deposited to Turbo tax first and then given to me). The caveat is that I live in Washington state but will be in California for two weeks and just in case I can’t verify over the phone due to work conflict, I don’t want to delay the verification. Would I be able to visit an IRS office in California to verify my identity to unfreeze my tax return?
